Vantage is pretty good to deal with scary shit like Nino. The AI loves dicking around with drawback and other stuff, so baiting her can be a problem. Vantage insure you can bait them properly without the need of using a dancer.
Under certain circumstances, it also allow you safely dispose of blue mage, assuming they aren't +def or def buffed.

But yeah, QR3 is also a good option, but it is obviously optimized to deal with other shits that are around the same speed as Ike.
