That's the thing, you can like any character you want for whatever reason you want. They are all supposed to be "realistic" in terms of being relatable someway. Even the cleat cut "villains" are multi layered. Sombra might be fighting to help the world. Reaper is simply dealing with an internal crisis just like S76 and Ana are. And Widow was brainwashed.
The world doesn't need Overwatch, it needs heroes. That's the main narrative of the story.

Not that guy but for me DPS is the least rewarding in Overwatch, relative to just playing a different FPS.
I actually like tanking and support, although I only support with Lucio/Zen because I still like bullying people, if I didn't I wouldn't even play this game.

When your team attacks first and you only get, say, 2/3's of the point, the other team only has to beat your score to get the win. But if you hold them below 2/3's, your team only gets a draw. How is that fair at all? Shouldn't you get the win, considering your team did better?

Blizzard prioritizes low queue time, so they'll toss you into other games if they can't find enough non-smurf new accounts for a full game.

Consider it a good opportunity to learn. New players don't know how to play the game and will, like, hold defense right outside attacker spawn. Veteran players will have some knowledge of the default defense positions, even if they're very low skill rank.

It really depends on what you mean by annoying. I can tell for sure people hate your chat getting flooded or messing up your teamate's ults with walls, but against foes, usually they seem to love being trapped in chokes while you fight them 1v1 (winning, considering she excels in 1v1 more than pre-nerf Hog and Symm).

Another way to be annoying is to actually unleash the wall/cryo freeze waaaay before it automatically turns itself out. People sure love this kind of surprises.

The matchmaking seems more random than your typical Quick Play match. It's easy to check now, so bring up the Groups menu and mouse-over the enemy names to see what their competitive SR is. I had a SR 2000 and SR 4000 in the same game.

As I mentioned, Overbuff is fucked up right now. You can't really trust their numbers. Here are my stats for reference, comparing Overbuff and MasterOverwatch. You see I have about average elims per minute, but Overbuff is broken and thinks my elims are off the charts. I'm guessing this is because they dropped all stats from losing games, but the percentiles are still based on the older data from before they dropped them. It will take a few days for this to get sorted out.

I don't play Pharah, but if I did she'd probably be mid-Diamond at most. Before the recent changes, Overbuff gave my Pharah around 90% Quick Rank.

Even Overwatch itself has abandoned "per game" and "per match" stats as of this patch. The primary stats are listed as "per 10 min" in your profile page now.

The main reason I go to Overbuff these days is because they have better session-by-session and game-by-game breakdowns. In recent sessions, MasterOverwatch only tells you elims, K/D, damage, blocked, healing and medals, and then they don't show the percentiles per-hero, making the session percentiles completely useless.
