Is anyone else like this with tekken? This is the only fighting game I have ever felt genuine rage with. I'm garbage at side stepping, trash at understanding my opponent and when they are gonna launch me, can't counter grab for shit, and fuck me if my opponent is a king with his unblockable moves, I keep thinking I can block unblockables and that theres only 1 type of mid and it keeps fucking me, i'm in an honest rut in this game.

Is there anyone who has felt the same? How the fuck do I cope with not understanding half the shit in this game?

As someone who plays akuma this actually god damn triggers me. His rage art is god damn useless, you literally hold up the moment it's activated and you avoid it.

It cant hit you when your in air, on the ground, and has a 50/50 chance of hitting when your splatted against a wall. You have ample time to side step, kill him, jump, ect. out of the way.

Alright, so I'm traditionally a Jin / Kazuya player and am trying to make this transition into Hwoarang in TK7.

Any Hwoarang players out there with any tips? I'm used to poking / spacing with Jin and defensive play with Kaz but am having a lot of trouble managing Hwo's stances and end up mostly playing in neutral unless I'm stance changing in pre-baked combos.

Nina is one step above Anna because she has some professional standards, while Anna is more of a sadist.

I consider Gigas to be upper neutral because it appears as if his free will is suppressed, but what we have seen of it shows compassion.

Ganryu is lower-neutral because of his corruption and general selfishness.

From what I could glean from Josie's lore, she is mostly concerned about her immediate family. Good, but not overly so.

Claudios bait comment is a little sketchy, but all the rest of what we see of him shows dedication to good. He might drop lower if we see more of that implied ruthlessness, though.

EWGF and Jin's version (EWHF) really aren't all that hard, if anything high level Bryan is harder thanks to his taunt bullshit. Mishima's just get the most out of their kit when you can EWGF and wavedash properly.

Jin is more of a pseudo Mishima btw. He has similar tools like a wavedash, EWHF and psuedo hellsweep, but his moves behave a bit differently and he's much less reliant on electrics in combos.

He does however have the best parry in the game as a trade-off and some interesting pokes. I'd say he's more of a mid-level difficulty character, perhaps a bit more on the difficult side if you want to master parrying.
