If you're using Xander on that map, having a good way to bait all the Legions to him helps a lot. He probably actually wants Obstruct and Def+3 for it so he can keep them from targeting other people. Get rid of the blue mages and Heavy Lance Cavalry and he can deal with pretty much everything else from the defense tiles.

Because of Firesweep Lance. The ones that stay 5* are usually the ones with a unique skill or weapon. For example, Faye remained a 5* most likely due to her Firesweep Bow. It stands to reason that Roderick will follow the same pattern as her.

Although, both Katarina and Athena have a unique A skill, so maybe they'll change things up.

You could do it a couple ways.
Noble birth but exiled/forced into hiding in a succession conflict and raised on the streets as a pauper.
Half-noble bastard child that lived without knowledge of their noble lineage.

In either case, contrive a circumstance for them to learn about their nobility and set out to become the rightful heir/reclaim their inheritance. Sort of like Lyn's story, except thieves obviously occupy a very different ingame niche and can afford to be quite a bit saucier as a character. If it's a male Lord, they could be charmingly boyish behind a rough exterior, sarcastic and disrespectful but growing more compassionate and wise through their journey. If it's a female Lord, they could be the typical older-sister tomboy sort that disdains the lady-like and grows to find her own way to suit the image and profile of a noble without compromising her values.

Retard here: how do I deal with Necrodragons in a way that minimizes/eliminates fatalities? There's a shrine north of a mountain village on Celica's route with 4 Necrodragons guarding what I assume to be the room with the Mila statue, and I can't seem to handle them at all.
They close too much distance and hit far too hard. I can use Expel but it's exceptionally risky and Celica's Seraphim spell won't kill in one round unless it's a crit.

If you're talking about the dragon shrine, they're actually guarding the revival spring and 2 chests with a cog and coral ring. The statue in in a path right near the entrance.

As for how to deal with them, an Invoke every turn should be enough of a distaction as long as the other people you put in their range won't die instantly. They're fliers, so bow damage can do a nice chunk to them, use whoever has blessed and brave swords to finish off whichever one Leo damages.

His Xander isn't even a 5* so it doesn't really apply, but both options are viable in different situations. This GHB probably needs Vantage Xander more if he's running Fury and your team doesn't have viable options to heal him, given some specials from Legion can hurt him and make Quick Riposte useless.

I managed to get her to level 14 just after doing that forced battle to get the stuff in a run with no forced dungeon encounters(aside from some rare monsters that drop cash), so it's not impossible to get it in time.

I still find it hilarious how my Deathblow Caeda setup just straight up 1 shots arena Hectors so I don't even need to put her in Desperation range to deal with them. It's a rather monomaniac setup though, and needs flier buffs to ensure enough speed to 2 shot everything else. I'd have to switch back to Darting Blow or grab Swift Sparrow use this setup on anything else. Maybe even get it an actual useful weapon like Silver Sword or Wo Dao.

+Def with no merges takes 57 damage with just the flier Hone. HP seal gets him to 55. Outside of flier teams you'd need a buff+Spur to get this shit to work, and defensive terrain will leave him at 10 from that if you don't wait for him to get off of it, you'd need to double Goad on top of the flier hone to ensure the kill in those cases, but it's usually less annoying to wait for him to get off it.

After 100,000 points in the tempest I've only found 1 potential unit on one potential map that can survive a Rein attack, that's Florina on the 4 flyer map. Even then all I do is kill the other 3 first and reposition Rein so he gets Hone/Goad before hitting her and it's no problem.

Even then if he has draconic up it's a kill regardless, meh.
