90% of her issue is her AA range. i get her design is supposed to be sniper-esque but so is jhin's and he gets that through his W and ult. cait has her trap/headshots and ult. the ludicrous AA range on top of that is just overkill. AA range in this game is a MASSIVE balance issue, hence the entire distinction they make between melee and ranged characters due to the inherent advantage range has. cait having range on top of other ranged champions is just retarded. tristana at least has to scale into her range. twitch and kog's range are gated by cooldowns and mana.

also trap spam is annoying. they either need to be destructable like nid traps or have the number she can hold at once be reduced. either change will do, both might be too much.

Also another thing I forgot is her AA attack range, its pretty good right now. I mostly get fucked by Spell Shield champs or anyone with a dash because the Q moves 0mph. Usually to land the Q you can force pathing and have them walk into it, but it doesnt matter if it doesnt stun them on hit/ if they dash through the wall. Ahri is kind of a pain too but i think thats just me personally. Lux is a bitch too but you can kind of play into it if you learn how they move. I usually shoot Q when Lux snares me, stunning her at the same time, but that still keeps you from using E combo.

Teemo and Heimerdinger get cucked hard too. The current meta isnt too bad for Anivia rn now that i think about it, aside from the occasional wild card summoners who go Lucian mid. If you want to get comfy with her in PvP, i reccomend starting out bot lane. It helps you learn wall reflexes around ally champs, like not fucking up and walling them at the enemy team, walling for vision at dragon pit (it gives a LOT of vision) and walling the jg. Bot gets camped 24/7 and youll get used to dealing with cucks tping bot and 4 man ganks. If you get lucky and get off a good wall stun, you an get double kills under turret during dives as you get egged. It happens more than you think.

in lanes where you have priority and can bully/zone with traps you only lose to major 2v2 misplays on your end or to ganks

I also think that her EQ animation cancel combo is too potent sometimes. Yeah, it's one of the skillful things about her but it gives a lot of unnecessary poke/power that other adcs can't handle. Even squishy supports

her range, while being her niche also makes her too good. 625 or even 600 like ashe would be way better. Or even reducing the added trap range she gets.

They could even make the arm time scale with her level/rank.

There are tons of nerfs she could get but the thing I don't like about them is that they either make the disparity of her mid game too big or just aren't effective at all

she scales well, if they nerfed her early game and made her better in the mid game i figure she'd be more fair/fun to play against
