Yes. You should only buy the weapon, it's overall a greater boost to score, and if you do eventually roll the character, you'll get a dupe weapon too.

If you buy the character, then if you roll it later you'll have effectively lost a weapon. Only buy characters if you've already bought every character SS weapon, and your medals are expiring tomorrow.

Not really, you should buy arcana first. Dupe weapons / weapon fusing dose not worth bothering too much, it is good for A->S-SS tier weapons because you can get very decent dmg with max fuse. But for the job weapons it is shit after you evolve them into L. Just because the price of upgrade L is so retarded.
I have cinder +2, and don't bother with upgrade after got it to 65 iirc.

You're talking from a week one standpoint here. The eventual goal is a full set of L weapons upgraded to max.

If nothing else, fusing high rank weapons gets you a lot of medals.

Why do people think the gacha will be up at maintenance? I've played mobages for years and I'm pretty sure that none of them have ever released a new gacha set after a maintenance and instead unlock it around 8am JST. It doesn't even make sense to release it after a maintenance considering something might've gone wrong during the maint and the payment side or the gacha itself might've been fucked causing a massive headache. Though I guess fucking things up like that would be fit this kusoge perfectly.

Are you guys leveling both your magic and physical sets? Pic is my current main set, mostly because the gacha doesn't want to give me physical weapons.

I only have 3 natural SS physical weps, but my whole physical set is unboosted low level besides the natural SS ones, which I did raise a bit. Wondering if I should take a break from my magic stuff and at least level cap all my natural SS and S physical weapons too.

Would sure be nice to have a Red Hood Crusher to take on the EXP dailies instead of a caster.

I'm starting to reach the limits of a lot of my stuff, and regret wasting mats on A and even some S rank stuff.

The game seems absolutely punishing from a F2P standpoint, honestly.

Everything below SS is straight garbage, even if you upgrade it you're left with something that is much worse than a regular SS.

SS drops are 3%, I've done 10 rolls and the best I've managed is 2 fucking Alice staffs, which are garbage because they're a single target heal.

I have few A-> SS, I keep them just because got +3-4 and can boost their SS damage to be something like actual SS
About L - Generally do upgrade to L only when all your S is SS and fully upgraded, L provide huge damage but to fully lvl up one you need the whole day of S tier wexp grind with clear in less then 2 min.

Also, your total weapon cost is capped at 300? once you hit the rank cap, so you can't fit all L or all SS weapons into your 20 slots anyway.

Just started a couple days ago and I'm a little confused on some things.

Is higher level gameplay pretty accessible as a free player, or is it pretty impractical without shelling out for those 3% rates? My only other mobile game was SS, which as a rhythm game made it relatively simple to reach high difficulties without paying.

The EXP curve on the weapons seems high. I've fed the SS staff I rolled a pretty large number of SS/S/B EXP items and I'm still sitting on Lv 56/60 (In retrospect a dumb move since it's healing). Is there some multiplier or bonus hour mechanic I'm missing?

I'm at four SS and a scattering of S weapons right now, but most of them happen to be support so my DPS is kill. Should I just do a few 10 rolls to get some S DPS, or keep saving and rely on mission/event rewards in the meantime?

Sorry if they're dumb questions, a smart anon I am not. Also, Red Riding Hood is precious.
