In Japan, Yugioh cards prizes are around 50% to 90% cheaper compared to american ones.

They create promo products with premade tier 1 decks all the time.
Also they revist fan favorites all the time with legacy support.

Yugioh in america is a complete different animal.
Cards are so hard to pull that playsets of important shit can go around 600$.
Packs are complete shit with no value.
We never get promos of cool shit that japan gets.
Banlists have literally no date of release or expiration.

Because if Konami would try to pull that shit on Japan, the japs would just stop buying.

Albert is an iffy win condition for Control because you probably won't have them low enough to consistently win turn nine. The problem is quite a few things actually.

- Wards and heals are trash in this game. You won't outheal storm damage and wards won't help you deal with Shadow because they never run out of fuel
- Bahamut single handily killed follower based control decks completely. The concept of out valuing is gone, which is why archetypes like Control Blood and Earth Rune literally do not exist anymore.
- Lack of reliable win conditions. Leonidas is extremely slow and is at the absolute best a turn ten win, which will have you lose against aggro and control matchups
- The more you add Sword's stronger cards, the less you can control. It just becomes more and more storm heavy, in which case you might as well go midrange or aggro

All I have wanted since I first started playing this game in DE was for Control Blood and/or Earth Rune to feel strong. The more cards they add, the worse Control Blood feels. The amount of Storm cards being added constantly is insane. Classic Control Blood is such a fun deck, but it is in the wrong game. It would fair a lot better in something like Hearthstone, unfortunately. There's just no reward for outvaluing your opponent.

White paladin takes an EP and the 1/1's do literally fucking goddamn nothing. She simply doesn't function in a 5 slot board. There's nothing she can protect, nearly everything she crashes into kills her. Nearly everyone has a bajillion board clears that slaughter the bodyguards on top of any board able to snap them right up. Then the icing on the cake is that they can't really do anything significant with the bodyguards anyway. One trump will be sacrificed using an EP to trade. the ward will eat shit. Leaving 1 garbage token that can't do anything and isn't even an officer to be boosted for 4 face. The zombie engine is hyper-efficient and solves all of the problems with token boards with his atk buff, generation, and rush on top of his body ensuring a split threat.

If anything, it'll just make aggro and Seraph/Dshit more popular. Aggro decks will kill before it gets summoned, Dshit will win on turn 7/8 like always, and Seraph will always win on turn 9 now without Odin. In fact, with Haven's new gold, they won't give a shit about Spawn in a Seraph or Aegis deck. Just wait and see, CBlood might get a little better, but the other decks will get a LOT better and still leave it behind.
