just play other games and come back for like an hour every 3 days to run through your quests for gold and do arena runs unless arena always pisses you off like it does for me. Then just get packs.
you can't really hardcore ladder in hearthstone until you have a meta deck or two.
Make sure you dont put any cash into the game unless its for an adventure because it wont go far at all, and remember if youre not having fun just don't play.

cards that draw other cards are extremely limited, and at most they only draw 1, and for drawing 1 card you usually have to pay the price of giving your opponent a card also OR give your opponent strength on their board.

Card advantage is a big deal in gwent so it's limited

Some people use backstabs instead of Tar Creepers/Tol'vir but I think the deck bricks enough as it is and that only makes it worse.
Others run Swashburglar but it pulls patches too early and doesn't help against aggro.

I force people to deal with my minions. You can't leave cleric, radiant elemental or priest of the feast alive.
If they trade, it's buying me time to get dragons/dragonfire potion going.
If they go face, I can use minions to clear the board, PW:S to heal them and draw and PotF will heal me back up.
The only real problem are hyper aggressive decks that get perfect draws, but there's not that many decks that can beat that, so I'm not too worried about it.
If I know I'm going up against hyper aggro decks, I can remove: Lyra, Elise and both Book Wyrms for ooze, 2x tar creeper and another potion of madness.

Looking at stats and seeing so many decks being played doesn't mean shit when most decks just play the same, play on curve with minimum thought involved and win. Best way of putting it is thinking of it as the secret paladin meta where every class has a secret paladin deck. That's why real people get bored of these decks within the day and switching between them doesn't do anything to the apathetic mental state you get when you play them.

In addition to that, much like how last expansion Fatigue decks were dead because of Jade Idol, right now Control decks are dying because of Quest Rogue save for a couple that manage to stay afloat somehow, so yeah, in a nutshell the game is not very good.

So, as a general rule, how many copies of a card should I have before I start disenchanting? I'm a bit of a hoarder and I'm also not particularly sure which cards are worth keeping.

Also, any tips on deckbuilding in general?
