its removal could only benefit everyone

nobody ever calls him ambush class, he is "flank class", there is a big difference. being the fastest class in the game he has the easiest time getting that close and getting free damage in from behind off classes like heavy then getting away unlike for example a pyro, and most classes can only do chip damage to scout from that distance as well. the idea of angle sensitive damage is retarded, i still don't understand why a spy should be able to cloak, go behind enemy lines and then instakill anybody who doesn't turn around constantly to look for a spy. his pistol should be more than enough of a threat in the situations a spy can get into by itself. likewise the backburner is a bad unlock that forces players to commit (as in, not run away) in a fight against the second highest close range dps class in the game. yeah sure you can +back, but that isn't useful since you get a speed penalty and he can just fucking catch up. very bad in pyro v pyro engagements especially since first person to fire is going to win anyways.

i don't see anything wrong with scout right now in a meta sense, he performs his job great and does more damage than most classes. he commonly even tops dps over demoman and heavy in lobbies even

Problem is RS's minicrit damage burst being almost equal to a stock shotty meatshot ranging between 88-110+.
At the same average distance supposed to deal like 60-80 average pershot. Small damage pellets gives the difference between 2-shot or 3-shot a light class.
RS simply allows Pyro to shut down any light class with 2 shots at a distance after locking you out mid-air.
Stock Shotgun may or may not be able to catch the damage you can put out in the same time period due to random pellet spray or distance.

Solution would be either a new airblast mechanic that would let people strafe, or some fuckery mechanic on RS.
I've been thinking about larger pellet spread and slower reload, so it evens the thing out by diminishing the damage output slightly
Forcing Pyro to lit people on fire first before attempting to drop them.

take your time with shots, when practicing focus on moving your mouse in controlled movements instead of wild flicks
there are multiple approaches to movement

it's also important to know how much distance you should be away from your opponent
lower sens players like to be away further than higher sens players for example, you have to find out at what distance you hit shots comfortably and then hold your opponent at that distance
if you know you hit more shots than your opponent stay at mid range and chip away at him, if you are worse get close and try for 80-100 damage shots, if you hit one you can create more distance again and finish him off
stop playing as soon as your wrists or anything else hurts and do your wrist exercises, b4nny has a good video on that

If you go "huddah huddah w+m1 huehue" it's inevitable. By ambush I only mean dropping on top of them from above.
It can be from a sentry porch, or a balcony for the heck of it.
The purpose here is not killing pocket, it's sweeping Medic away and killing him.
