That's pretty stupid as while the Rhodoks probably share some culture with the Swadians, they have nowhere near the land to promote equestrianism and their culture is more about the layman populace anyway. I like the nord tree and the swadian tree is alright
Take the heavy cav from the rhodoks and change it to a zweihander/landsknecht but leave light cav hand crossbows. Maybe have a pistoleer ritter as the final tier of rhodok cav.
I like the idea of slingers but not as the sarranids only archer, higher tiers should use bow+arrow
The rhodoks and nords should have light cav and heavy infantry so the original feel is still there.

These are honorable lords, the easiest one to lead. They are pretty loyal and won't leave their homelands soon, that's the drawback. 1st kingdom ever anon here. I manage to get some stability. in pace at the moment with all, and got a wife with a +55 reputation nord lord (I want to flip him) so I hope nords dont try to attack me (also good reputation with king ragnar).

the thing is I got all that by myself, no vassals at all. but the last war time (vs vaegars and nords) was hard as fuck, not being able to control/defend properly all the land, and it was a pain in the ass desu. Now I got 5 vassals (with pic distrubution of the land) from those cunts who just appear in your capital town/hall, trying to pick the ones with higher renown (dunno if its the best election process).

is this a good amount/distribution? how many vassals is good to have? 5 to 10? should I be the marshal? cause yes looks logical to me, but dunno if I can get to many bad reputation and shit when at war all the villages get crazy harras (is that even stoppable?)

I have, and it's not too bad if you give yourself a short break afterwards. Using a bow that can do anything in battle is just as bad, try drawing a 75-125 pound bow 20 times, your arm will gas out shortly.
Firing a sling also takes very little time, actually.
It's just insert ammo, aim if you want, and do a single overhand throw. Bows on the otherhand require you to pull out an arrow, knock it, pull back the bowstring, aim, then fire. A whole two more actions.
It's not always a good thing to have better penetrative properties; arrows may often go in and out of a person, leaving just a small hole, hardly incapacitating them. A sling bullet on the other hand causes blunt force trauma, shattering bones and causing internal bleeding.

Have you even ever handled either?
The main reason why the sling was replaced is that it was simply easier to mass a force of archers than slingers.
Same reason for the crossbow replacing the bow in continental europe and the gonne replacing both of those.
Each new ranged military arm is designed to use less skill to shit out more soldiers, and that is what happened to the sling (after hundreds of years of use side-by-side with bows).
