How come these speedrunning events never really have a set amount of people who proceed to prep the setup like 10 minutes before the run ends? Even GDQ has pretty long set up times.. Like have 2-3 people on the sidelines gather the controllers and wires and stuff.

Which is something they CAN do right now if the runs use different systems.

I agree, there's a time prior to sub 1 in 70 star where you can have shitty, pointless habits. It's excusable when you're new.

By the time you have a 52 you should have seen enough gameplay to be aware of how the movement for stars works, especially if you're doing noob strats. The only understandable reason to not do something at that stage is if you're physically incapable of executing it.
