After finishing P5 I went back through the franchise in reverse order.
Having just finished 3 I think that despite P5 having the best gameplay it's the absolute weakest of the 3 hashino games.
That's not to say it's shit or anything, but it is certainly the weakest.

She learns all the party heal spells. Having those spells on her is really for when the party in in a pinch. Makoto seems to be more of a magic/assist user, learning very little physical skills and several assist skills.
However, I wouldn't say that I utilized any of the PTs to their fullest during my playthroughs.
Morgana gains the most healing inclined skill set of the PTs.
