I think it's more so the fact that they tried to shove her down your throat so bad and the anime of Golden just really made this worse. Like... she gets integrated into the IT (albeit during Social Links since she has little to no bearing on the main story itself until near the very end), everyone seems to treat her fine and basically ask no questions, and care about her when her life's in danger even though they know nothing about her. Yeah, the IT are heroes, heroes should help those in need, but... still. Also her poems are cringe, and she is an option for Valentine's Day that you cannot... not do. First off, I don't believe for one second you're actually a Hifumifag.

That said, Hifumi and Haru are both half a character. They both have their charm, but they're both lacking something. With Haru, it's that her ojou background and subdued personality don't quite work with her tomboyish character design. And with Hifumi, it's that she isn't given enough development, considering what they were trying to do with her.

Haru and Hifumi should have been combined into an entirely new character named Haru, who was completely chuuni and had a childlike enthusiasm about Phantom Thief work.
