pay2convenice. things like extra inventory space and more weight limit means you can carry more and have to take less trips to the bank while farming. Pets to loot faster for you. Maids that can transfer items to your bank for you or allow you to check the marketplace while not in town.

These items make the game a little smoother, so they're worth getting if you're serious about playing. But its not pay2win because they don't make you stronger in pvp or pve or anything, just convenient to have.

Literally every class is fine. 99.99998% of the game is actually mindlessly grinding easy to kill mobs or sitting afk in town smashing tree trunks with an ax.

Xp area PvP is entirely about who has the biggest no-life dick gear and only .00008% based on class. GvG shit is who brought the most witches and bodies.

All classes excel at all of these things, but valkyries seem to be much better at cooking and smashing tree trunks. ymmv. Play what you think looks/is most fun.

I like the Dynasty Warriors combat. If the PvE is going to be fucking braindead anyway it can at least have the common courtesy of feeling satisfying. It's way more enjoyable to lawnmower through hundreds of guys with greatswords and meteors and arm cannons instead of spending a minute plinking each individual mob to death, especially when in both circumstances they represent zero threat to you. Even the occasional threatening enemies have you dodging and moving like you're Dante instead of waddling about getting out of cones on the ground. With the flash on contact, the little tick of hitstun, combat actually feels like it has some kinda impact instead of vaguely flailing at something to death. What game do you want to compare it to, WoW or FF14? Fuck that shit.

Buncha garbage chinese knockoffs and more of the same shit in MMO Land currently. Blade and Soul and Black Desert were the last two MMOs that I was hearing any hype for, and while I'm enjoying Black Desert neither game maintained the hype train after release. The last MMO I enjoyed before this one was Age of Wushu, and they fucking cratered that game with their garbage mismanagement.

You need to use your attacks defensively. The allure of with is being able to sit in block and wait until someone tries to engage, then just press all your skills one after another because they're all super armors or frontal blocks. Your goal as witch is to damage trade - something witches are amazing at because they can attack and defend at the same time. Just be patient.

Cant decide between Witch or Dark Knight, can anyone give me a rundown of how each class plays with their flow skills around 58? I usually a melee player but witch looks interesting with its attack pattern. Feels like I'm a force of nature one shotting everything or something. Dark Knight seems more instant though, plus its partly melee right? I usually dont play ranged.

i'm a 58 Witch atm

it's a mix between ranged and close up combat, only use awakened skills in PvE for dps, couple of pre-awakened heals for self-sustain and the teleport, couple of pre-awakened shields for pvp

heavy nukes, simple rotations, no real combos, it's very comfy and efficient, big aoe's etc. but not very challenging, some say it's braindead, i love it though, very nice farming class, doesn't require much positioning or focus, just wreck shit and move on to the next pack

it does indeed feel like a force of nature.


can't speak for DK as i haven't played it, but it's considered one of the most OP classes right now in all aspects of the game, they lack the self-sustain of Witch/Wiz though, gonna need pots

I think there is a base speed you can gather a resource and that's only amplified with distance (assuming the worker's city is connected that far). Example: Velia worker taking 30 minutes on a nearby node while an Altinova worker traveling to gather that same node would be 50 minutes+

Wizard has less range than Witch is more in your face oriented, has a grab instead of a block

Wiz 100% Ult is much better than Witch's and i think Wiz has one more superarmor spell than witch, and ofc their element is fire and water instead of earth and lightning

Ok cool. I've been playing since yesterday and like it a lot so far, level 25 witch. I haven't been trying to level quickly though and spent probably too much time figuring out how nodes and workers and housing goes. I'm enjoying that aspect of the game though.
