Honestly it just looks like the studio needs more people working there. We can easily fulfill the needs of a Dev team just by signing on. This tells us one thing about where most of their problems are coming from. It's not the lack of money, it's poor management.

VS is the most difficult to design for because if they're weapons are gonna have unique functions they need a programmer (and really most things you can think of aren't even easy to do in an fps with thousands of players).
The idea of more unique faction weapons is dead because of this component we would only get faction specific weapons in the cosmetic sense.

If that is the case a simple solution would be to keep the vs platform of highest velocity and reload speeds. Some interesting weapons can be done from there. For instance a high hip fire cone and recoil low aim cone and recoil carbine. An assault rifle with much lower damage but an extended magazine and almost no recoil. A LMG that has a more manageable recoil pattern for moving than when aiming (can be easily done by swapping out a few number values.)

I had a lot of cautious optimism for this ga,e up until a out a on the ago starting with the thER all nerf. I don't know what the fuck they ate thinking with these combined arms changes. At least they are mak8ng orbital strikes useful, adding infantry spawns, and making it so defenders have no deploy zones, but why the FUCK did it take so long. I guess I can kiss any hope of them doing NTU style resources goodbye. Directive-based Implant Rewards
The following rewards are meant to reward players at different stages of their career. New characters can quickly increase the breadth of their loadouts by completing Tier 1 directives for each class, while characters with a bit more experience can unlock implants for getting their foot in the door to the objective and leadership aspects of the game.

You can now earn 1 Novice Implant Pack (2 random non-exceptional implants) by completing the following directives.

You can now earn 1 Basic Implant Pack (3 random implants) by completing the following directives.

ISO-4 Recycler
The ISO-4 Recycler can now be found in the depot, and allows you to exchange excess ISO-4 for a chance at one random implant. Less common Tier 1s and Exceptional implants have a higher drop rate in this pack.

Cosmetics
Fuzzbuket's Spartan armor is now available individually in the Depot for New Conglomerate characters.
A battery of player studio outfit decals have been added.


Misc. Adjustments and Bug Fixes

Fixed some skinning on NC standard female non-infiltrator armor.
Fixed a bug where you could infinitely repair from the rumble seat under certain conditions.
Performance improvements for Orbital Strike generators.
Fixed an issue where C4 (and other things) could potentially damage an orbital strike uplink when it should be invulnerable (is powered and has a core).
Fixed bug with Exodia decal.
Fixed bug with WWEW decal.

yeah planetside gains and loses enough players every day to have a stable population. Honestly, it's big enough that I will have 40 fps in 200+ man fights on my medium rig, so im kind of glad it's not bigger. On one hand there would be a constant focus on optimization if there were more players but that would also mean more frames loss during stagnant periods of devs frantically coding.

Pretty sad desu, it was a useful bug for dismantling air-zergs.

I just spent 4k ISO4 on recyclers and all I got was tier 1 dupes.

I don't have Assimilate, Battle Hardened, Catlike, Vampire, counter intel or minor cloak.

I basically just got a bunch of ammo printer and regen again and again.

The magscat doesn't suck nearly as much as I thought it did.
I've been playing a lot of Archer engineer recently and using the magscat as my "primary".

Slap the smart-choke on it and it's one of the best "long range" shotguns in the game, discounting slugs of course.

saved my life like 5 times in my 1 hour session yesterday, and it's maximum effectiveness can be attained at rank 4

In terms of Certs to ISO4 you need to spend 1500 certs on two deluxe implant packs, have almost all of them be duplicates, break those down into 450 ISO4 and then use the recycler once.

The recycler therefore costs 1500 certs to use once if you buy deluxe implant packs, 1800 if you buy the regular packs.

And it'll still more than likely give you a dupe of one of the implants you broke down into ISO4 in order to use it.

How fucking absurd is that.

Mathematically at the end of the process you are most likely to put 1500 certs in and get only 25 ISO4 back, in the form of a single dupe.

1500 certs -> 18 implants = 450 ISO4 -> recycler = 25 ISO4

Do not use the recycler, you're just throwing your time, certs and ISO4 away in an artificial cert drain.
