It's difficult, but maybe the Carefree reward can help get rid of the autonomous "Get Jealous" interaction when she/he sees you talking to someone else.

I ended up taking the Jealous trait off my girl because whenever we'd go out to eat with some friends and I'd be talking to another sim, she'd stand up and get jealous. But my sim has the Carefree trait and he didn't get jealous at all when my girl talked to other sims. Just my experience though.

Thinking of reinstall Sims 3 plus a few of the expansions I have.
However is there any mod or anything to fix the awful moon faced Sims the cpu creates?

Not really. Ugly townies are a fact of life in the Sims, no matter what version. Some default replacements for skin and eyes can help a little, but they'll usually have the blobby face.

Also if you're getting back into Sims 3, here are a few good resources if you don't know about them:

Does anyone else have the bug where the Sim's portrait takes forever to load in CAS if you make any minor edits?

And then if you try to save the household, it just hangs there and you have to force the program to close.

I thought it was a CC incompatibility, but I can't seem to narrow it down. It's been happening since at least the March patch.

Does anyone know of some good stockings+garterbelt mods for TS4?
There were plenty of those in TS3 but I can't find much for 4.

With the way the environments were designed in TS4, anybody else believe vehicles in the game would be sort of pointless (aside from immersion). Some of the lots aren't even connected to roads, and there's at least one neighborhood with no roads. I understand lots in TS3 weren't required to be connected to a road, but at least in the game you were in a single open world where you could see your sim driving to their destination. In TS4, most neighborhoods only have a single, small stretch of road in the playable area before the car drives off the map in a few seconds. It will pretty much be your sim hopping into a car and the game just teleporting you to your destination. Maybe if they changed the way travel works in the game, where if you were to "walk" to a lot in a different neighborhood, you wouldn't just instantly teleport there, but have to walk to the edge of the map, making a car more convenient.

Getting better slowly but surely. Sims 4 is still fairly hollow, certainly not up to par with Sims 3 or even 2 in terms of things to do and overall gameplay. Sims 4 is obviously the best graphically and performance wise, of course.

Eh. There's some kind of Origin emulator you can get (check back several /tsg/ threads) that will let you patch a pirated version to current level, but it has some odd quirks. The latest you can get for a non-Origin copy is version 1.25, which includes City Living but no toddlers, vampires, or bowling.

Sims 2-style driveway/car combos seem plausible.
The roads themselves are FX and non-routable (for the most part), so cars would have to "cheat" by being placed on the edge of the lot and just clipping across the road to simulate driving before just fading away, but in theory cars are doable.

The trick is that they need alternatives for worlds like Magnolia Promenade, San Myshuno and Windenburg, where our Sims have to walk for a while before they find a road (if at all).

Private jets or helicopters could look good on Windenburg Island. I've seen stuff like rollerskates, scooters, skateboards or bikes be suggested, but those strike me as jogging alternatives- you'd go around the block, on the sidewalk, and then arrive home again.

I guess some worlds just might not have transport at all.

I tried making Love Live sims on TS3. While the outfits are pretty much identical to the ones they wear, the hair is the problem. But it's like that for sims from pretty much any other anime that have weird hairstyles

Eye colours are not showing up in game, so i use two different eye cc plus the ea base colors. Recently i notice while messing around in cas that the base colorus aren't there anymore.

So I remove both cc for the eye colours I use and now nothing shows up, I tried changing the eye colour and all there is only the brown, the option for colour do not show up so I press random and only brown is the appear even when i go select the random of the sim or premade face with colored eyes brown still appear.

I speculate we won't even get Seasons. Did you see all the Sims surveys about potential expansion pack and game pack ideas? One of them was for a "winter vacation" pack that would feature a snowy mountain destination sort of like Granite Falls. I'm assuming because with how static the worlds in the game are, changing seasons and environments (or at least snowy weather) aren't possible in the current worlds, so they'll compromise by just making a new destination world that's locked in winter.

I don't get the whole entitled attitude, myself. What was so amazing about TS3 besides the open world? It had magical teleporting cars, half-assed college and magic (which to be fair were half-assed in TS2 as well), and Seasons were literally just shader effects. Nothing that can't be done in TS4.

Buy the best beds you can afford, as this will help your sims recharge their energy better. Also try setting up a smaller and more efficient home so their needs will be met faster. They should wake up, eat, go to the bathroom, wash up, and get some fun however they like (reading, watching TV, playing video games, whatever) without having to retrace their steps too much. You know, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is how EAxis decides to do "seasons" with TS4: giving us a winter map and a summer map just like in the surveys. They'll probably try to rationalize it by saying they didn't think it was fair trying to sell us the same expansion packs over and over, and they wanted to try something "different". It's not the in-house items but the ones in the Inventories. Two of my Sims (No1 and No2 from the left) just returned from a 10-day honeymoon from Granite Falls.

No2 has the Outdoor Enthusiast Aspiration and I completed all but the fourth milestone. No3 is my original Sim whom I used for a runaway teen / homeless challenge.

Fun fact: when it was only No3 (and his wife) I only paid two grand and below. Halfway through the honeymoon it went up to almost ten, then I got the one above after they returned.

Seasons was shader effects with some added particles for that buttery smooth 10fps experience. The only reason that they're talking more about winter vacation and summer worlds is because of the casual players who want something closer to freeplay or a dress-up game where the emphasis is less on the world around them and more on the sim themself.

If you think it's such a ad Idea, then tell EA aout it, not me. Tell htm that you want full-fledged weather, not to mention, lot traits include data for earthquakes so the winter vacation and summer content may be completely separate from seasons entirely.

Seasons won't e replaced, it'll give you natural disasters so that you can't have your perfect little vacation.

Go get struck by lightning, I wish EA would die like THQ and auction off the SIms IP to another company. The only one accusing us of being content with such a thing is you, and you'd despise a ts4 Seasons EP if it added bad weather because you couldn't have your perfect summer vacation anymore.

Hard meshed snow on the ground that your Sims feet actively sink their feet into and leave footprints in isn't a shader effect. Neither are the texture modifications to the trees. Seriously learn how graphical effects work before spouting off bullshit. I'm trying to tell you that Vacation packs have existed for as long as the series has, and that Vacation and Seasons packs are completely separate entities and have ZERO IMPACT on eachother. You said nothing about all the other tropical vacation maps from the previous games, but as soon as there's a winter one then hell has frozen over and there's no reason for seasons anymore.

I mean, I've been playing this series for 17 years. I've bought Seasons twice already. I've bought University twice. Those should be base-game features. It doesn't have to be anything world-changing, even a "disappear off the lot while you go to class" college feature that unlocks high-paying careers would be better than nothing.

And I'm not gonna say Pets should be base-game, but at the very least we should have parrots, and fish we can feed and name. Hell, the Cowplant works exactly like a pet. Why can't we name it and build a relationship with it? What makes it less of a friend to our Sims than their teddy bear or the 3d printer at the Science lab?

None of those examples you listed are based on winter, you do realize snow is different from grass, right? That it requires more than a fucking shader to pull off convincingly? We've seen time and time again that just because Maxis did something in previous games, doesn't mean we'll get it even half as good in ts4, so wouldn't it make sense that we'd get a compromise winter land to make up for the lack of a winter everywhere else? Because that's where the ts4 trend has been so far. TS4 is just one big compromise.
