This area is far too large for invasions and it takes forever to figure out where the host it. You can get good invasions but they are not frequent.

torso & flynn as far as I can tell don't increase lightning damage, as such, if you want more damage, go with blessed. Since it increases physical AR, which is again increased by the various buffs.
Lightning blade is 0.96 * (Spell Buff) AR. With 40 faith like you had, canvas has 180 spell buff. Thus you gain ~170 AR.
At 120 lightning flat defense is pretty high. I opened three random 120 builds on mugenmonkey & average was around 160, thus lightning blade would give you around 10 AR increase. If you went with darkmoon instead, it'd be magic damage. Which tends to have lower flat defenses, at around 130 if they're not casters. if they are casters it skyrockets to 160 or higher as well.
Blessed gives 7.5% flat damage, which works with other stacking items such as flynn ring & dragon torso. It gives about 25 AR. Which is slightly less than the darkmoon blade, but again, it stacks with other buffs. Plus it gives you some regen.

as far as halberds go its pretty meh. Its short and gets around 450AR 40/40 refined

However, and this is why I still like it so much, its very light for a halberd, and it has the war cry WA. Treat it like a long battleaxe and youll have fun with it
