The colors are much stronger and the distinguishing aspects of the characters are made to be in the focus. No matter how you look at it, the CF portraits makes the personalities of the characters shine through in a way that only the CS artworks had previously. Probably the only exception would be Tsubaki.

Minor question but I've noticed PC players who play Street fighter tend to have good 50/50 reads but never really capitalize on it. I've been playing fighting games off and on with a friend for about a year now, and now that I'm starting to understand the basics a bit more I'm really starting to enjoy them more, particularly bb.
Problem is, the more I learn, the more I realize how shit I am. How long does it take to stop being shit? Not be good, but just not shit.

Mindlessly playing for example won't get you to be "good" nearly as fast as learning specific things that make different aspects of your play stronger. Some people are also just better at analyzing their own gameplay than others.

Usually play for at least 2-3 hours a day against one particular friend who is decent at fighting games, and another who just kinda throws out random shit which I hate to admit works because I'm inconsistent with punishing him, and then I spend 1-2 hours maybe in challenge/training mode.

One thing you shouldn't focus on if that's your issue is winning. Of course, you shouldn't be trying to lose, but your goal in every match should be to accomplish something you're bad at. In a competitive match, it's bad to try and fish for something, but when you're trying to get better, there's no better way to get awareness for it. If you want to learn to do your full combo off a 2B starter for example, then you should be trying to connect 2B specifically and focus almost entirely on trying to get that combo in.

Also, don't forget that the bot in training mode has actual options. Setting it to blocking randomly will get you more used to hitconfirming.
