Backwash and Boardwalk are other names that often get brought into this conversation but I think they're a bit underrated to be honest.

I'm one of them. I never had a bad experience playing on it, really, and the aesthetics are too high to count it down anywhere near Isolation, Coliseum, etc. on my lists.

It even does some things like weapon balance better than a lot of the older games did, but it still has Sprint and a bunch of other abilities a lot of the fanbase doesn't like. I'd say it's worth your time if you can get it for $20 and plan to commit to it for a bit.

I don't give a shit which company makes the game as long as it is good. 343 has yet to make a game that satisfies three conditions at the same time: works at launch, has a decent campaign, and has a decent multiplayer. Bungie games were far from perfect (Halo 3's FOV and shot registration were bleh. Halo 2 had too much fucking magnetism, and button glitches were a mistake, armor lock is cancer, etc), but they ultimately delivered on those three fronts to me, not counting CE since XBL wasn't out when it released. It had a fun campaign and multiplayer though, so I won't hold no online against it.
Destiny was terrible by the way.
