just starting to get into the american tank tree, I found the M8 pretty fun to play, and now I have the first couple M4s (105, m4a1, m4), and they are a bit disappointing. how is the later tank tree? like jumbos, hellcat, and up to the patton. worth the grind?

Also stuck on grinding the ussr 4.0, currently using the t-34-57 and similar BR tanks (no heavies, though almost done researching the kv-2), is this a hard part of the grind for ussr? or am I just bad?

Hellcat is the only one worth the grind. the 90mm guns are all fucky, and the 120mm get shit ammo. 105 is solid af, but your either a shitter in the T29 (which is worth buying) a dumbass in the T95 (which is an easy one hit kill because cupolas are fucking filled with hair trigger HE) or the mediums which face ATGMs anyway.

I have too many braincells left to get it's APCR. The solid shells sometimes work, but they bounce rather often, or just magically do no damage. The M103 HEAT-FS are okayish, but I've never made money with them due to weird HEAT-FS mechanics against fucking russians. Also because ATGM shitters.
