expanding what can and cannot be hacked is, I think, the better choice. Sombra is a debilitate character, her main usefulness should be her ability to stop other people from doing things. Namely I want her hack and EMP to stop 76's ult. I mean he literally uses an electronic visor to give him aim hacks. How is that not something Sombra can't hack?

First of all you're assuming skill ratings mean anything. If you're placed in Plat that doesn't mean you will never reach Diamond or fall to Gold. It is a fluid rating that assess your current skill and places you accordingly.

A Sombra player being a handicap means that the player simply isn't reaching their full potential. They will be placed into a ranking that is below what they would get with any other offense pick.

You can obviously still make it to rank #100 as a Sombra main if you're good enough, but you could go even higher with pretty much any other hero.

It's not a difficult concept to grasp dude.

Pretty much the only reason devs are set on not moving Symmetra from support to defense is to try to soften up the fact that there are just not enough healers, right?

I mean, pretty much most of the offense / defense heores + Roadhog are interchangeable, you can most of the time have any combination of those and win, as long as you have two of the four healers.
