I haven't spent anything on PAD since 2015. Admittedly I am not playing it as much as I used to but it's enough to keep up a competitive team.

They are giving out obscene number of free stones and MP. I got dark Athena literally for free thanks to the 4x/5x godfests giving me so much 50k mp fodder and daily free stones, plus the hundreds of thousands of free mp they gave out this year.

You just have to avoid wasting free stones on the bait REM and collaborations.

The GFE pool is getting very crowded though. This can't be healthy for new players just starting out. It is getting harder to get specific subs and inherits, I will admit.

Thankfully D.Athena just runs a team full of cute tiger girls.

I don't play as much as I used to 1,5-2 years ago but pad still has the by far best gameplay in any mobage I've played. team building is also really good.
But it's true that gungho fails to add actual new gameplay mechanics, although it's also kinda hard to revolutionize the match 3 stuff further.

I've had 2+ of the top 5 teams for as far back as I remember and even I got tired of the constant jp hyperwhale endgame content that they release.

now it's a you-need-an-unlimited-whale-box-for-endgame-dungeons game, which is basically all they release.

If you have to waste a skill early due to skyfall fuckup it was miserable in longer duneons.

I am truthfully happiest with a player like Krishna's playstyle. You increase skyfall chance of the colors you need, have a deep hp pool for stalling, solid healing power, and scaling damage for full control of what you are doing.

Those were shit at the beginning of the game. You would usually only run some orb changers and healers, there was also damage amplifiers if you wanted to do stuff faster.
