The actual Puzzle and Dragons side is a little slow and changes to the way you upgrade and evolve monsters is a little weird, since you can only use eggs to upgrade the monsters, although they do level during combat.

The Mario side is much better. Less walking around and plot BS, plus you can sacrifice monsters to level them again.
