Any hot tips for a newbie that I wont find by reading strategies/guides and doing research? Things like soak exp if the enemy team is 10/20, maybe which heroes not to play until I'm more experienced? (I chose the Tanks/Bruisers bundle)

I try not to play ranked during peak after-school hours/weekends because that's when the game quality declines from my experience and it's probably worse in gold so I'd try to avoid that but it's jut my experience maybe yours is different. Make sure you smartcast stuff if you already don't and try to get into a habit of checking the minimap often, could be something like after every CS just a quick glance. If you got a plan don't assume people can read your mind and communicate it provided it's simple enough to say in a few seconds. If you wipe out the enemy team push over getting mercs. if you're level 20 and you win a fight their death timer is like 60 seconds and their core is exposed go win the match

Being a squishy is just more punishing if you're out of position, whereas being bad as a tank is just going to punish the team, not the player.

Tanks are generally considered one of the harder classes to play at a decent level though, at least by high end players.

I've been trying Leoric for a bit and I just can't get into him. I want to like him, but playing him feels like anything interesting about you depends on your W. I'm not calling him bad, but I think I'd rather be playing any other warrior than him.

What're your opinions on Ragnaros' Lava Wave?

I've heard the guides all saying it's a situational/shit ulti, but I don't get it. It was widely used in tournaments, creates a massive XP advantage and can essentially zone an area. It's pretty good on long maps and maps where objectives result in hardpush mobs IMO.

Not saying Sulfuras Smash ain't good, but it seems a 50/50 ult pick, not 100/0 like guides tell
