playing dominion. me conq and a LB are watching C while 2 others watch A

LB and i take turns fighting anyone who runs into our zone. warlord and warden are the only ones bothering with C. after a few 1v1s warlord and warden both run up. LB is the first to swing. LB vs warden me vs warlord. warlord and i are locked on to eachother just starting.
i unlock to see how LB is doing. warlord unlocks too. we both watch the fight standing shoulder to shoulder cheering. warden kills LB. let him get the execution because he'll need the extra health. me and warlord go at it warden watches and when i win warden spams good fight.
it really was a good fight. i made 3 new friends that game. this shit is way more satisfying than dog piling some poor bastard.

Holy shit. Just tried Valk for the first time is this what life is like for the fast heroes. You don't need to feint anything you just throw an endless string of lights then deflect any counter attack. This shit is exhilarating, but at the same time feels like easy mode. I was level one and shutting down high rep people even in a gank, I didn't even learn how to bash/sweep. Lights and shoulder pin are enough.

Just feel like venting. Over the past few weeks I've decided that the game is complete trash. I have around a 75% wr across all characters I play, have put in a hundred hours or so.

The game is more fun when you're bad. since I've gotten good, I match up with players who only play the top classes and turtle waiting to parry and fishing for ledge kills. The only characters that can safely attack are warden and warlord. High level play is dominated by top tier classes turtling and abusing bugs to win.

I'm uninstalling the game and likely won't play it any more. It's just not fun. No leaver penalty, no ranked, constant server issues, terrible balance, and a balance team that is glacially slow. Too bad there isn't a similar, better game than for honor. Guess I'm waiting for bannerlord.

If your on console, best way is to just find a valk player and do 1v1s against them to get a feel for it. Going off of pure reactions can be tough so just try and learn the patterns most valks use. Also if you get hit expect to end up on the floor, her double lights into sweep has some weird stuff going on on console where the hit stun and guard change times can lock you in place just before the sweep.
