DPS is the most important role in the game. If you have no damage, you're just buying time blocking damage and healing, never killing anyone and eventually the enemy team rolls you with a salvo of high-damage ultimates

Healers and tanks are super important too, but their job is to keep your DPS alive longer than their DPS. That's how you win a teamfight.

This still doesn't mean it's a good idea to pick 4 DPS characters. DPS with healing behind them will beat twice as many DPS without it, every time.

The high ground section i mentioned was on the bridge before the 2nd dorado point. After booping the rein out of it and hog hooking the enemy hog the rest was easy. Current heals 40/s for 5 seconds. Considering blizzard likes fixed numbers, 25/s for 8 seconds sounds pretty good.

It would make s76 feel a lot less sturdy when he's trying to fight on top of the biofield but it would still allow him to run off and heal to full no problem.

Playing DPS is untenable because in the rare instance that you don't get all of them instalocked at once, your teammates are shitters who refuse to heal or just all fucking die leaving you to 1v6 the enemy team

Getting Bronze damage with the blaster and keeping your enthusiastic retards from dying seems like the only way to win some games, and I've got more potms in competitive as Mercy than anyone should ever get

He can't really flank reliably because of his limited mobility, but with good awareness you can.

You can sit behind shields and help get pickoffs or if there is no shield, he is decent from range.

In close fights he is really strong because of his stun. It counters a lot of heroes/ults and is especially good for locking down pesky Tracers/Lucios/Genjis.

His damage isn't as reliable as S76 but his utility is better because of the stun. His ultimate also isn't as reliable, which is another reason S76 is picked over him.

Watch some Korean pro teams in action. They are gods with McCree.
