I would like you folks opinion on some shelves please, I'm not sure if I should use the GtW ones that the Nep dolls are on or the Vernka ones. I'm trying to make an game/hobby room and I want it to be a neat cluster fuck of this and that in the room.

The Verenka ones are better in the sense where I can add more to the shelves but I like the clear glass of the GtW shelves. Also playing with wall shelves before I put everything up to see which ones I want and which aren't so limited with space.

I've made the last three op images and I always take the time to look through every single image in the prior thread for folks who might be new or sims that have yet to get featured. Sour grapes argument that is also bullcrap. Check the first set of comments in any new thread with a proper tsg op image. It's always someone excited to see their sim in the op, hell I've always saved every op image Lydia made it into, that shit is flattering. That's why I go out of my way to pick unrecognized sims, so new people can feel welcome, recognized, included, and appreciated.

I'm trying to build a mall with living quarters that's divided in to 4 section each floor.

I'm a very bad designer, though. And my floor plan is nothing short of a NEET without his addy's.

I need some sweet design ideas/pics/suggestions/comments. Clearly not finished and polished but I like well designed businesses and I'm doing some kind of collection of the sorts. The underlying theme for the WHOLE 'mall' is nature integrated with technology.

1st floor.
To the left there's the outdoor section with plants.
Moving upward is the first room which is a bathroom/shower for the pool at the very top. The pool area will either have the walls knocked down or glass windows.
To the right is an undecided room.
The very right corner is a 'lounge' area. Theme is undecided.
The room that is actually furnished is a bakery/cafe. I'm wondering if that's a good choice since it's one of the two rooms directly in front of the entrance.
The room to the left is undecided, although I'm leaning towards an electronics store.

2nd Floor
Very left is an outter walkway that's connected around the whole rim of the 2nd floor.
This is floor is going to have a bunch of retail stores of various types. The only room that's decided is the very top, which is going to be a gym that will hopefully overlook the pool.

I downloaded Sims 3 from links above but when I tried to start the base game it's asking me to reenter the registration code. I already tried 3 code it came with, but none of them worked. How do I fix this?

This floor will be a massive entertainment type area. I'm thinking of Dave & Busters or some shit like that.

That's pretty much it. Somewhere along the line will be the living quarters, fit for 8 sims or more.

I'm also going to have some sort of secret lair so I can have orgies/bukkake parties while popping pills and having Sims scat all over the room for a very nice ambiance.

Why is this shit allowed? Is it really that hard to part hair? And then some of this looks like like it was colored with a bad marker or just had patches stuck on and called hair.

The fringe is lazy and has no depth to it at all, and the other parts is like slap and stick, I can see why the hair comes in limited colors because the colors it doesn't fit with are shoved off and the ones that don't show it's flaws too much are there.

The middle left I can deal with since you can only really see the 'skin' with the dark colors under the hair and I'll be using light tones.

I can see why though all that other shit had small as fuck thumbnails and no good previews of the hair, so the flaws wouldn't be seen so easily.

Anybody know what to do with this? Everytime i load another house to go to with my sim and then go home, my house and any other house i go to after disappears. Very annoying, had to restart my games several times, sims 4 btw

The deceptive previews are what get on my tits, and not just for hair, but all CC. Yeah yeah, free content, but it makes you feel like you wasted your time by downloading it.

Plus if you're having to use the ol' Healing Tool on your preview pictures, that should tell you your mod sucks.

Every time the game is launched I get the "mods have been disabled because the game has been updated yada yada" pop up. The problem is that, even if you enable mods in settings and exit the game, the mods keep getting disabled on every launch.
I looked at the FAQ at the russian site and it says that, because the origin emu does not keep track of time played, every launch of the game is considered the first since the update. I'm stuck on a perpetual mod auto-disable.
If it is possible to get around this problem and I'm just being stupid, I'd like to know.

Just did the test, both by changing it to 0 manually while the game's closed and via settings. No effect, it changes back to 1 during launch.

One thing I think might might work is overwriting my ReticulatedSplinesView file with that of someone who's bought the vampires game pack. Might even need one from someone who's bought everything.
I'd be grateful if anyone would be willing to upload theirs to test it.

If the "Bitcoin miner" isn't running at all when not AFK, then it would need something else to push it to start. Something like Windows Tasks. And you can check those as well, should be in task scheduler library.

I sometimes search for files modified that day I installed something, like "datemodified:5/7/2017" on C drive. Nothing slips trough.

Let's say I make some OC and forgot to copy them back to the Mods folder after a reinstall. What will happen to those Sims who have that piece of clothing equipped? Missing texture / mesh text? Invisible body parts? Or the game won't load at all?

Looks good. The one thing I hate about Anne's hair in Sims 3 is that it crinkles up when she turns her head, meaning certain poses and animations look weird. It's like the mesh is too long and gets anchored to her shoulders or something. Sims 4 obviously is better about this, but it's too bad we can't get proper hair physics.

For Sims 4? It depends, but at least in the case of clothing, hair, or skin, the game is pretty good about ignoring or replacing whatever is missing (in certain cases you'll get some weird invisibility glitches). It will give you an error message and you might end up with a naked or bald sim, but it will usually let you continue.

In the case of scripted mods, you could run into more trouble.

Thanks, I forgot to include it was talking about for Sims 4. From what I gathered it's really primitive when it comes to modding (probably for a reason), so if I'm bored or have a specific idea for a character I can easily make customized content on my own.

Does anyone else feel like the Aspirations/Wants and Fears system in TS2 was vastly superior to anything we got after? Wishes in TS3 and TS4 feel so meaningless in comparison.

I liked that system too. It definitely added some challenge to the game. Experiencing a Fear would absolutely kill your sim's happiness and things could quickly spiral out of control.

In Sims 3 the system only gives you some goals to meet but there's usually no penalty for not meeting them. In Sims 4 it's more about managing your sim's constant bipolar mood swings.
