Troveanon here, I've gone complete nuts and have now made automatic fishing bots that don't have any issues with inventory overfills (scan inventory in a matter of seconds, drop shit that shouldn't be there such as boots/trophy fish) or admin interventions (whenever a GM pops up, it just screams a variety of sentences relating to "fix the server" or "I'm fishing because it's too laggy"), in which case they fuck off nearly instantly.
I'm going to buy a dual xeon machine and become the inner jew/chink that I was destined to be.

The worst part is that I had much more fun doing all of this instead of playing the actual game.

If you want to play alone, then yeah.
For me it's easy enough to find other players, but that's because I'm max level and everyone else is also maxed. Finding players for lower level dungeons would be harder.
They kinda made it better since you can now choose the difficulty of a dungeon so if you don't have 6 players you can lower the difficulty setting. Makes it easier to solo too but the rewards would be less.

90% of the cash shop items are cosmetics so not p2w at all. Sidekicks are useless now and they're pretty cheap when other players sell them. Same with pets, they can be dropped from monsters so they're cheap.
Hero system makes it so you can party your alts so you don't need to find players.
Boosters makes leveling faster and gives you an extra loot roll.

Look, it can be done while you're leveling and I'm not really asking for anything beyond stasis 22+ which is where things start to get fucked. Experience is also boosted.

Once you reach level 52, if you're group leader you get an additional option when entering dungeons that adjusts the level of any party member that's beyond that dungeon's level range, and gives them an automatic build if they don't have a custom one. Entering the dungeon this way can enter your team in a monthly ranking that gives you mystery boxes once the month ends.

Builds are also unlocked at 52. You get your real level build and can make 2 additional ones for free with their own characteristics, spell deck and equipment. Any more you have to buy with ogrines.

Competitive also lets you unlock dungeons difficulties higher than 20, with mobs getting stronger and having additional mechanics. Highest I've seen is 50 but that one's nearly impossible to beat.

Spells can be worked around since it just takes whatever you have in your real level build up to the automated level slots/passives unlocked.

Even then, characteristics and spell pages can be changed to fit a higher level so unless you're going back to previous dungeons you can reuse the two free ones. Equipment pages can be deleted and remade at will.
