I've been playing Orisa a lot because she's like a rein but you can actively force your team to get behind the shield by throwing it in front of them and do damage at the same time. Winston would've actually been good against the enemy team we were facing since they had a nest of them sitting on the balcony on the first point of Hollywood, but since our team was me and a buddy playing Orisa/Lucio and the other 4 guys losing on purpose before deciding to leave after 30 seconds it probably didn't matter.

Some servers are nice and mature. Others are complete cesspools. It's basically a random chance modified by the type of game.

OW is probably one of the most female-friendly games I've ever seen, owing in large part to the incredibly varied user base and more simple mechanics.

Something like J-Stars which is 90% hood teens is hostile to literally everyone.

Call of Duty, which strikes a balance between frat douches, drug dealers, hoodrats, and white suburban children, is also extremely aggressive though slightly less so.

I only played QP until this season. I like QP because it really doesn't matter in the end and you can pick whatever meme team you want and still win just as you can have a well composed team and lose to 5 dps and junkrat. But after playing comp actually having a composed team 95% of the time is too nice to go without. Just don't get too wound up over your rank, turn off chat and play like normal. I only get really into comp if I'm playing with a group of people rather than just solo.
