The Slavs don't really need a huge navy though. They can reach any part of their country by land.
Added to that the Baltic and Black Sea can be easily blocked off so you'll have a load of ship doing nothing in there.
Still, seems like they were about the same size as the Germans in 1941.

Yaks with the 37mm has really great pen when you top attack. Most Allied tanks, and some of the German stuff (like Tigers and Panthers) can be killed through the roof of the turret or set the engine on fire.
IL-10s cannons suck, its only really worth it for the missiles/bombs.

120 ping is the sweet spot in War Thunder. If you have say 20 ping you're putting yourself at a LARGE disadvantage. The vast majority of players have 100+ ping and a lot of them have 200+ ping. Actual problem with 17pdr was that it was specialised AT gun, and all other aspects were sacrificed for better anti-tank perfomance.
Firefly was never general purpose tank like T-34 or standard Sherman. It was made to provide firepower of tank destroyers for tank platoons armed with 75 mm Shermans and Cromwells. Regular tank destroyers would drag entire unit down, since they weren't build for offensive actions, so Brits stuffed 17 pdr into Shermans and gave one to each tank platoon they expected to run into tanks.

What do you need fire density for? To minimize enemy's ability to protect himself from the barrage. No time to take cover. No time to withdraw equippment. No time to evacuate from bombarded area.
What do you need mobility for? To hit enemy before he can relocate, hit him from where he doesn't expect you to, and to relocate yourself before he can counter-battery you.
Rocket trucks can fire metric fuckton of rockets, and leave enemy range before he strikes back, restock in safety, and attack again from different spot.

That's my pic and.... I just drove forwards and shot stuff in arcade. It helped that everybody else was driving the same, crappily armoured tank.
Managed to get 5 kills in the first game... then realised that the event didn't start for another half-hour, despite what the news-post said. Took me another 6 games to get a 5-win streak.
I should add that I'm a below-average arcade/really sucky realistic & sim player, so no skill was required.

Why bother? The T-50 and T-126 Are poth effectively immune to those rockets (at least to the front. The T-50 may require a bit of angling). I was using then to seal-club. I could roll out and take the entire ammo-loads of 2 BM's to the face. Only damage I took was some lost tracks. Depends on what you're driving. If you have an 88 or 85 mm, you can ust shoot them in the UFP and half the time it'll go through, even if it shouldn't, because Gaijin cannot into layered armor. MG port or LFP for everything else.

The comet is still a pretty shit tank but sabot helps a lot. It can pen a Panthers UFP out to a few hundred yards, it can pen the henschel turret and set off the rear ammo rack, it's not as good as sabot used to be in the good old days of non stop M41 one shots, but it's good.
