They can deflect it, dodge it completely and dash attack it, dodge and GB it, or do the exact same thing if you try to heavy out of shove, but that generally will catch anyone that tries to GB the shove. If you choose to GB, their dash attack will nullify it. Therefore Assassins can completely use it against you UNLESS you do nothing after the shove in which case got can trick them into dash attacking and parry it. However, if they choose not to do that you're back to neutral. Assassins and ANYONE with a dash attack of any sort are problematic to LBs and that's why he's still not able to win tournaments.

It's not an exaggeration. That's most of the characters in the game. Raider, Kensei, Berserker, PK, Lawbringer, Valk, Other LBs, Conquerors sometimes it's buggy, Orochi. That's almost the entire cast that can actually use Shove against you the majority of the time.
