I want to play Druid but I really don't like the idea of looking like an animal in combat. It's what puts me off Worgen as well (otherwise I like the lore/background of them). Is there any way around it, say with a glyph or certain style of play?

Druid only has 3 forms that are frequently used, cat, bear and moonkin.

Resto does not shapeshift, and moonkin has a glyph to be in a spectral form instead of moonkin. Also, NE are superior to worgen for druids anyways.

I know, I was going to be NE anyway for Druid. Well I was thinking of resto anyway so that's good to hear.

I mentioned the Worgen thing because I mean that the entire race is offputting to me, regardless of class, because of how they turn into werewolves automatically in combat. I wouldn't mind if the game had moon cycles and a full one turned you into a werewolf for the duration, but always being forced into a werewolf just to hit something is annoying.

My main's a Dk too. Best class story so far, by miles.

And about Mage: it actually feels like it plays how a Mage/master of the Arcane/fire/frost should in my opinion feel, and the QoL stuff like Portals, mana buns, featherfall and such make everything so much easier and more pleasant. And every spec is always viable somewhere.
Finally, if you haven't done Suramar/Broken Shore yet: Featherfall+Invisibility>>>>>anything warlock has, including pet.

When I picked my druid I thought the whole reason to be a druid was to be jack of all trades master of none. I really don't care if I am buffed or nerfed since they come and go for every class. I remember for a while everyone screamed about warlocks never getting nerfed then they became shit but now are getting buffed to an insane amount. Blizzard really can't make something balanced without making it useless or overpowered.

Is anyone here experienced with RP servers? I'm thinking of transferring my rogue to one because my friends just don't play the game anymore and I'm looking for something new.

The only experience I have on them is some degenerate ERP but that's not the MAIN reason I want to go, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try it again for the fuck of it. How frowned upon is it on those servers to mainly RP but dabble in the degenerate stuff in down time?

Also moon guard or wyrmrest? I've heard enough about both if them to assume they are the go to, populated RP servers.
