In general yeah, if a HOP hands out all access to a clown, it's the HOP's fault, not the clown. That and his willy nilly promotion of a known criminal was why I wanted him demoted for Abuse of Power.

As a general rule, security will support the person who is causing them the least problems. Captain was giving us less headaches, so the HOP was the biggest problem in my eyes. All access IDs are especially dangerous because you can use them to produce more all access IDs, a lot like the blob gamemode. Unwrench that arrivals ID console and get to mass producing! Sec will NEVER be able to undo it entirely, either, like putting toothpaste back in the tube.

Also the proper SOP would be for the majority of the heads of staff to vote to demote the captain, THEN promote the clown. This procedure was not followed and thus the clown's position as captain is invalid. If the Captain is committing a blatant abuse of power, the HOP should contact the HOS to arrest him post-haste. t. guy who has played IAA in a round with a rogue non-antag captain

Dexalin is a pointless compound except to make Dex+
Inaprovaline is pretty strong as it halts oxy damage but it metabolises fast. It's balanced, a new version would unbalance it, even though its also made pretty redundant by Dex+ too
Lexorin is OP at high doses unless you have Dex+ on hand.
Leporazine... whats the point in having a stacking chemical for it when it has one effect that isn't healing related.
Alkysine is pretty strong and fast except for in the case of supreme mental retardation but it still doesn't take long, a stacking chem is again, pointless.
Cryptobiolin has one use: making spaceacillin, it might aswell be the plant name for it because spaceacillin is just a play on pennacillin.
Impedrezene has no legitimate uses and you might aswell keep the name for a plant chemical cause it's just a grief chemical.

In addition, we have a reagent which can only be found through botany which halfway removes the need for organ repair surgery.

I still feel like I'm learning something new every round, but it's fallen off enormously over two years. It's infuriating to see people fail to do simple things that, occasionally, depend on you leaving or returning to the round.

The best example I can give is when a roboticist takes the cell out of a borg, opens the wiki, then goes AFK for a few minutes whilst you tab out. Then you tab in and he's whacking you with the wrong tools.
