It can't be helped. Falcom gave back their PSP dev kits. It's unfortunate and I'd love to play the trilogy on my Vita too.

They only have the rights to the PSP and PC versions from Falcom.
Vita version would require getting the rights to that version from Kadokowa and the other company that developed it whose name escapes me.
I think the issue with the PS3 version was it didn't have trophies and Sony US and EU refuse to license any game without trophies.

I played through the first one. It is alright. It is an action platformer in which you collect stuff. Tokens, stars to unlock alternate worlds. No bosses though, so it is just a pure action platformer. If you really want one then you could go for it.
