All Makoto has for me is Diarahan and Energy Shower and I only have her use those for emergencies, otherwise she's defense buffing and using Frei skills.
Mona has Diarahan, Mediarahan, Samarecarm, and Me Patra, he's the main support of my team.
Makoto only has heals for emergencies like if Mona just got KOed.
I have Joker carry a support Persona in case the apocalypse kills everyone but otherwise me and Yusuke are all damage all the time.
I just found that this team comp had all my bases covered all the time so I never changed it.
I also love all these guys so that's part of it I suppose

He has matarukaja AND charge, whereas Ann only has Concentrate.
He can crit on top of all that.

Ann comes close if you stack both fire damage buffs, but it's easier to stick with Ryuji. Best team comp is basically Ryuji + Makoto + Haru/Morgana (depending on if you need a dedicated healer or can get those shields up)

I just figured something that kind of annoys me with 5.
In the other games, your wacky adventures are secret, and happen outside of the normal daily life. 4 would have some people talk about the investigations but that's about it. Meanwhile in 5, from the point you beat Madarame onwards, the entire damn world talks about nothing but Phantom Thieves. Early you would have people going on with their lives and stuff, but then every NPC conversation becomes about their opinions on the PT. Every single one. Even when you go to Hawaii all you hear is whether or not baka gaijin know about them. I know we're pretty much a meme and all, but still, it kind of breaks the immersion to have the entire game world focused directly on your antics rather than existing in parallel to them.

It was still pretty weak because there were other limitations. Skills were shared amongst the party so you had only one Pierce which made the use of more than one Phys party member unviable. You could also adjust your spells before every battle to snipe the bosses' weaknesses.

Hifumi and Shinya's could have just been solved by them cutting ties with their parents when they come of age. It would be rough, but that's generally how you deal with disapproving relatives in the real world.

Sojiro's was pointless, because you fail to stop the guy in time to go to the cops, but the cops won't take his side anyway and laugh the complaint out. So you could have just not bothered and nothing would have changed.

Reporters would have voided when Shido went down at the end of the game anyway.

With the possible exception of the mouse puzzle rooms in Shido's Ship, the dungeons' gimmicks never outstay their welcome and the layout is better than the standard corridor affair of most other Persona or SMT levels (with P3 being the worst offender).

Crazy story line with a tight cast of characters that were all well written. Gameplay was what it was, you could run it through with the inital persona's, prime and ultimate with no difficulty really.

Black Frost has 4 resistances and no weaknesses and is powerful on it's own so yes.

It's also almost perfect against groo because he blocks fire and dark which is his primary magic use.

Though using Abaddon against him is just cheating because he blocks everything groo tosses out including physical attacks.
