I do think that her trait should be movement speed when chasing, her whole character is about never giving up the chase.

Q: Blink Strike - Targetted blink that deals damage and places her on the opposite side of her target. Resets her auto attack.
W: Shadow Strike - Launch a poisoned dart at a target enemy. Deals initial damage, then DoT damage. Auto attacks consume can consume some of the DoT to do the remaining damage faster.
E: Fan of Knives - Launch out 12 knives in a circle around you. Knives deal good damage, but stop on the first thing hit. Each subsequent knife that hits the same target does less damage.
R1: Avatar of Vengeance - Summon an Avatar of Vengeance. Has a ranged attack and large health pool and can be ordered around with R. Whenever anything dies near it, it summons Spirits of Vengeance that are invulnerable but have no collision, so they can stack on top of each other or people can just walk through them.
R2: Something witty about jail - Drop a giant cage from the sky on the targeted spot after a short delay. Man I'm having way more fun with this than other MOBAs, but I still get so fucking lost on what to do, especially when the enemy team has a huge lead and are just running together across the map like a tornado of death shredding my team apart.

Nobody ever uses chat to give orders or insight or even basic tips, all I can do is ping dangerous areas and map gimmicks or go get camps with my IRL friend because nobody else ever wants to help.

What do you do in this game when you have no direction?

What do you do when your team is getting annihilated and you can't help get kills because the enemy won't split up?

What do you do when a loss is guaranteed but the game still has to drag on for another 10 fucking minuts because MOBAs?
Can't sit and accept the loss because I'll get kicked for idling, but everything else is pointless.

Give direction if the team can't direcy themselves. You can and likely will comeback in a "we lose not matter what" situation at some point or another, just try to herd the cats in your team best you can without pissing anyone off.

If you are new/low skill this is harder to do because people lack the knowledge of their own hero let alone anything else, best you can do is say group on me and try your best to lead them around to things that will help.

Like here, a basic beginner one; How do I start a match? Do I go down a lane and fight enemies? What about when me and an enemy are just sitting there killing each-other's minions forever, getting nowhere, and neither of us can kill the other because we retreat to towers?

When you're losing, winning a lucky teamfight amd getting the objective is usually where the big comebacks are. It's a team game, so everyone needs to get their shit together to perform a comeback. Yes, thats the point of the start of the game actually. The only way to change this is with a dedicated pusher like Xul, Gazlowe, Azmodan, or such.

You should be focusing on just seeing how your opponents react at this phase. If they seem to dive to get an early kill, or act super cautiously. This will usually give a good indication of how they will act the whole game.

For the most part, just make sure to soak the XP. Don't get bullied back to the core and miss out on XP, and DO bully them to do the same. Once the first objective pops up you can decide what to do then.

While we're on the topic of scrub questions; What are some good tips for bans in draft?

I usually just try to ban Lucio and Auriel, but really I'm not familiar with the game enough to know who's best to ban, and I choke even harder when I have to give someone else advice on who to ban.

Are there any current tier lists for this game or are people still working it out after 2.0? Should I ban based on tiers or what?

Not him but here's some super advanced tips and tricks to to outplay the bronzies on the enemy team:

Combination of Gang and Shank. Requires only 2 people to do. You look at the map when your lane is pushed, and notice your team mate is around 50% hp and up against an enemy also at 50% hp. You can rotate (change lanes) to behind the enemy and shank them by ganging up on them. Gank.

Essentially yes. Siege camps are almost always soloable, but different heroes do it better or worse. Assassins do it best I find. Bruiser camps are usually not soloable (early) except by lane pushers or bruisers (who should still duo it due to speed). Boss camps usually require 3+ people, but again some heroes can do it solo or duo. Depends on the map for this case though, as braxis can fucking eat a duo alive.

Siege are the ones that look like giants. They're easy and die quickly both before and after you capture them. They can attack structures without getting hit by towers, unlike some camps.

Bruisers are tougher and can piss off heroes, but won't wreck as many structures.

Gank means catch someone off guard and kill them because they were out of position. Either via stealth or bushes.

"Push lane out" means attacking the enemy minions, thus your side pushes closer to enemy territory. This takes you further away from the safety of your own forward towers/gates/territory. This especially makes you vulnerable to ganking, which is when one or more heroes rotate out of a lane to kill someone, then usually leave and go back to their business.

Camps have difficulty tiers, their numbers usually coincide with their strength pretty well. it depends on your hero but usually you can take a camp of 2 at lvl7, 4 just above lvl10 and a boss camp requires team (or one out of a very specific set of heroes)

Trickling kills means dying here and there, not at a pivotal point. If you die in lane and there's nothing going on like a large teamfight or an objective, it might not feel like you're costing your team much, but in truth you gave the enemy a large chunk of XP and the freedom to grind your mobs, gank your friends etc. Trickling will have a game turn on you deceptively fast, even if the death itself didn't feel that impactful.

You might want to consider doing this "ganking" yourself, assaulting another teammates lane to break the enemy's balls in a 2v1. Scare them out for an early game lead. Then return to your lane if you were the only one there, before the enemy creep suicides into towers.

Oh and Forts and Keep's shots slow you down both in attack speed and move speed. Let minions get "draw fire" before trying to finish them off.

If you ever feel what the enemy hero is doing is complete bullshit or have no idea what killed you, be sure to look at that hero's abilities and talents after the game. I died way too often to Tyrael's trait before looking up what it that big circle was.

Oh and don't stand in circles. Usually bad. And if Kael'thas casts a spell on you that sticks, don't stand next to team.

She's essentially pure gank. She has a very difficult time doing anything beyond getting kills against people who are already injured.

Complimentary heroes are for the most part pretty obvious. Lt Morales + any Auto Attacker (Raynor, Butcher, Falstad, etc). Auriel works best with heavy AoE characters like Jaina, Guldan, Xul, Kael, and also with high single target damage like Nova. That said, playing her well requires a bit more situational knowledge than most.

Even if most people don't like it, Gall can be a good character to learn with because you can literally watch good players and contribute at the same time. It's who I've used to teach the game to a bunch of my OW friends. They're even sticking around it seems, and are willing to learn to get better.
