Shadow Aggro had no problem winning games, but the draw RNG was annoying. Aggro Blood was more consistent than Aggro Shadow in its damage output. That's the frustrating part, but the winrate was good.

Yeah the entire "only catacombs makes him good" is pretty bullshit. Even if you were to do the bare minimum and play 1 card per turn that's enough for two zombies on turn 7 which can pretty much swing most boards. And even still there's plenty of cards beside catacombs that generate extra shadow like bone chimera, skull beast, sarge, Cerb, Enhanced Zombie party or unenhanced Death's Breath. Just playing Arena let's you understand the power level of the card. Even if my opponent played no catacombs he still has more than enough shadows to completely swing the board with the card.

What catacombs does is enable you to soulsquasher + warded death's breath + multiple Eachtar. Double Eachtar in a row is pretty much GG for anything that's not Haven or Dragon.

There are like 6 cards in the game that do more than 2-3 damage to face and are low costing enough to be efficiently run.

Blood used to sort of do that with Demonic Strikes + Claws + + Yurias + Vania + Storm followers. It's sort of fallen off since shadow's strictly better.

So, what does /svg/ starred in their collection for possible incoming nerfs?

So far I've just got Zell, Lightning Blast, Prince Catacomb, Orthrus, Luminous Mage and Grimnir.

Lightning Blast kind of requires the devs to give a shit about Take Two, and Luminous is honestly pretty much a "it's just a really strong card" deal and are both there really just as a "safe" measure. Grimnir is only there because it's just massively overplayed right now.

But I honestly can't think of much of any other singular cards that actually have much impact right now. All of them for Dragon are a shitton of legendaries, and hte only other Shadow card would be Eachtar, also a legendary. Nothing else really stands out.

Catacomb, Zell, Grimnir and Eachtar. Orthrus and Luminous Mage are strong cards but don't deserve a nerf. Shadow lacks good 4 drops, I'm okay with Orthrus, she got released at the wrong time so she seems problematic but she isn't imo.

Lightning Blast is a stupid card but I think we'll have to accept that it's a Dragon card, just like Themis in Haven. Lightning Blast is here to stay, as frustrating as it is.

Prince Catacomb has single-handedly ruined the meta in a most impressive way. I'd honestly be thrilled to see him nerfed even if Dragon got away scot-free, because at least then we'd see more Midsword and combo decks, who can beat the Dragons.
