The routing challenge in SM64 is so fucking boring for a 3d game. Almost every star has been using the same route since 2010.

The only interesting routing developments in the game are on 100 coin stars and sometimes red coin stars.

OK it is time to settle this once and for all. Which summer speed marathon is the BEST marathon (in terms of speed). The major ones that I know of are RPG Limit Break, NASA2017, ESA2017, and SGDQ2017. If I missed any, please let me know.

Here is how it will be determined the RANKING of best marathon to worst. Each run in a marathon will be compared against the world record. The difference in times (+/-) will be recorded for each run and tallied at the end of the marathon to determine the average +/- time. The marathon that has the lowest AVERAGE +/- time will be crowned the fastest marathon of the summer. The person with the lowest +/- time will be given the title "fastest marathon speedrunner".

It's time for marathon runners to focus on speed again. It's time to make speedrunning great again.
