Honestly the turret requires next to no micromanagement, you can put it down once and generally forget about it the entire fight.

Songs are just a single GCD that you use occasionally.

I'm just a shitter that can't seem to get the hang of them honestly.
With songs I'll do something like use one on a big aoe pull for TP and try and turn it off at some point but I hit the button at the wrong time (since you have to have the global up to turn it off) then I have no MP at the boss. Or leave it on during a transition phase and waste MP/uptime. Or sometimes I just forget to use it altogether and waste that potential.

my MCH is still low level but even in low level dungeons I been doing the turrets die to aoes, I definitely wouldn't pick up on that in an actual fight with mechanics and would probably have it dead and waste a lot of damage.

I've been hoping it would get better with more experience but I still fuck up bard songs all the time and I've done at least 30 dungeons at max level now so its probably not going to get better if I don't have it down by now

Honestly kind of depends on what else they reveal before Stormblood in the next live letter, which supposedly will finally have some info about the battle system changes. If there's enough good significant things talked about, I'll probably preorder SB then. Otherwise, going to wait and see how it is until after launch.

As for right now, yeah the main core of us are mostly inactive from lack of motivation to mindlessly grind tomes til SB. Maybe I'll find motivation to resume decorating the house sometime but I have doubts about that.

Do the scales get in the way or take away the aesthetic of slutglams?

I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION TO THE VERSION CHECK ERROR.

Backing up the settings through the launcher and then deleting the Application Support file does a quick and dirty fix for the mac client. I'm unsure if this problem will persist in the future, though. I wish SE had gone through the trouble of making a native client rather than a simple wrapper.

I can't decide between DRK or WAR, I've been solo tanking Zurv EX as a WAR for my axe and I'm really starting to like being the MT. Usually as WAR in most content that I do I'm just a subpar DPS who has to get adds every now and then. When I MT on my WAR I end up having a lot more fun but there's usually a DRK so I can't. Anyone else who was stuck between WAR and DRK want to offer some advice?

no one knows what the state of warrior and dark knight is going to be in SB. warrior is going to recieve big changes, but dark knight seems to be more stable because it was made in HW. I feel like dark knight will be more similar and warrior will undergo more changes in SB because the class right now is too good, but that's just an opinion with no real merit atm.

Warrior is a great MT and the best OT right now, and dark knight is the best MT and alright as an OT right now.

Personally I find DRK a lot more engaging but its really up to you, with SB coming it's a crapshoot to which one will be better at which job. Either way any tank class can MT and will be able to MT, there are plenty of groups with Warrior MT.
