The Age of Gods ended with Solomon (or Roman in a retconnish way), but the gods survived and lived for a few centuries after his death before they turned into divine spirits (and their destruction began with the Sefar, later weakened by Gil's defiance, but this is not the Age of Men/God related but rather about the fate of gods on Earth). Age of Gods/Age of Men are the labels of the two cosmovisions that set up the rules that wrap the universe or Earth at least. Before the Age of Men, the rules of the world were made by gods, after this, it's men that called the shots and the laws and observations changed the rules of the universe.
