So Sae resents Makoto because Makoto's idol is their dad, not Sae. Makoto's idealistic and the entire reason she wants to be a police office is to enact justice, like her dad did. Sae's realistic. She basically raised Makoto, got herself through law school, and became a prosecutor at age 24. As you can see from her Palace, she obviously had to make some compromises along the way. And Sae somewhat resents her dad for dying and basically forcing all this shit on her.

Just got some info with an Atlus USA employee about future Persona related releases.

Atlus Japan will do a livestream in July and will announce the following titles:

- Persona 5 fighting game (ARCADE, PS4, PC) - The arcade version will be released at december 2017 while the PS4/PC port will be released mid 2018. It will use the same engine of Guilty Gear Xrd.

- Persona 3 Remaster (PS4, PC, upcoming Sony handheld) - No release date, it will an remaster version including the FeMC route but with actual models and more new content, will be an launch title for the new Sony handheld system and will be released in a few months for PS4 and PC.

- New Persona 5 updated version (PS4, PC) - Enhanced version of Persona 5 with new content and huge graphical updates (since the PS3 version will be dropped), planned to be released early 2020.

Atlus USA is also working right now on a PC port of Persona 5 that will be released in november of this year with all DLC available for free at launch.

Been playing P3 FES since I wanted more after beating P5. These Tartarus bosses are a huge pain in the ass, enemies seem to give fuck all exp because when Mitsuru joined she was 5 levels higher than my character. This Intrepid Knight boss is bullshit, it's got Garudyne and Mind Charge when I only just started getting the second-tier spells. Do they seriously expect me to do this at this point in the game before the next full moon boss?

I'm sure if they need a romance subplot for the main story or a character's development, they'll work one in, in a remake or a later title or whatever. I don't really see how Ryuji or Yusuke hooking up with someone would improve them as characters or improve the plot. Yeah, that's probably the main issue. I know, the older you get the harder it is to meet new people and make friends, but it is still more than possible. Surely you have some hobbies (apart from videogames). Is it possible to meet other people with similar interests in your city? Likely. If you manage to have at least a couple IRL buddies (not even super special unique friends) it will be much easier to hang out or meet new people (even through your new acquaintances). But you need to try. If anything, "Persona" is supposed to inspire this kind of attitude. You can't really walk around town and just harass random people with stupid questions like you would in "Persona", but the idea is to be open and willing to change.

Eh, it's a matter of opinion. I like the social events in 5 overall more than 4. And comparing 5 to the remake of 4 is a bit unfair. 5 will surely get a remake that will add lots more romance content as well.

It's true that P4 vanilla had a bit of romancey dialogue in dungeons if you spoke to party members who standing in empty rooms (but it didn't have any of the costume dialogue obviously). But not much. And the romances were never really acknowledged at all. They added some acknowledgements in P4G.

They stumble on the metaverse and personas when researching their small towns deadly contagion that is spreading all over Japan causing a big stir. Patients keep dying, successful missions leads to patients living and how many you save determines things end game. Free time studying goes to researching cures instead of trying to pass class exams like P5 for example. Illegal black market drug and organ trade to acquire new drugs, treatments, test subjects etc to help you fight in metaverse and create cures.
