While I don't necessarily think adding those would be a bad thing, I think it's pretty ridiculous to act like those are preventing the game from being a 10/10, or that they hold the game back.
While you're not given a lot of free time during main story periods, the game is balanced around that so it's hardly an issue; Compared to Persona 3/4, P5 is easily the most forgiving game of the series when it comes to maxing all cooperations - to the point where I did it without a guide, with 8 days to spare, and I slacked around a fair bit during the first half of the game. I can't bring myself to fault the game for gating your time, when they considered that and designed the game around that. I think the dungeons were plenty expansive enough as they are in all honesty, and are probably the most well designed and varied dungeons I've seen in a JRPG period - and while more secrets would always be nice, it's hardly something to fault the game for since every game *can* be improved upon. It's especially impressive that the dungeons are handcrafted at all coming from the pieces of shit that P4 and P3 had. The rumor screens thing is kinda ridiculous to treat as a flaw, they are 5 lines long and can be skimmed through in seconds. They are more frequent in the latter half of the game, but they're also more important there, and go from being idle chatter to outright updates on what's happening in the world at the given moment.
You can hold triangle to fast forward through the results screen by the way.

Hmm yeah. I did want to hear the lines this time a bit better as it finally was in original audio. Maybe that's part of the reason. The dungeons itself haven't been that bad, though I've played the game on hard and on the last dungeon I was at Mementos I wasn't always too careful with the ailments they liked to put on you.

Nep and Fairy Fencer are pretty similar, Nep is the by far better of the two. Dunno how much it is now but these goes on sale for literal pennies all the time.
I only played the Vita version of Gravity Rush but that was very, very eh in my opinion. It was incredibly obvious that it was just a tech demo for the Vita. The story is honestly the main thing that feels incredibly unfinished about Gravity Rush. It has some cool moments, but when you would normally be about halfway through and the story should start gearing up it pretty much instantly jumps to the "end" and hurls a bunch of new characters at you that you just know were intended to have proper arcs beforehand but had to be cut because of money and/or time constraints.
Gravity Rush 2 is a hell of a lot better from what I hear.

There's only 4 chapters in total, every new chapter has some kind of gimmick and you basically start completely over every time. It takes like 15, maybe 20 hours to beat and it's very easy. The only true exclusives they still have are Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5 and that pirate game.
They realized the Xbone was DOA so they are trying to hit a new console generation early in order to make back some money.
Nintendo has been getting lucky and have used fake demand in order to influence real demand. The Switch is a fine handheld but there is literally nothing to play on it ( especially if you bought a Wii U like a good Nintoddler)
Sony has consitently brought good games from the East, have funded some of the best games in the past decade and are the strongest console on the market right now. They really are in a league of their own.

Really depends what you took issue with in the first game. I was pretty meh on the first one, but really loved the 2nd, but I honestly can't tell you why, since when I try and step back and take an evaluative look at GR2 compared to the first one, it seems pretty similar mechanically. It has far more content, that's for sure, but the improvements aren't massive. The combat is still pretty repetitive and can be frustrating at points, and the mission structure is very lazy - particularly in side missions. If you took issue with those in the first game, the 2nd might not do it for you. It definitely feels more polished though, and I thought the story was a lot more coherent and well told, even if it was equally dumb at times. I've heard performance on a regular PS4 isn't great too, I played on a Pro and while it doesn't compare to the Remaster, since it's 30fps vs 60, it was very stable and I had no noticeable frame drops, but in terms of visuals, the game is beautiful.

It's not nearly as complicated as you might think especially once you get the hang of it. Some of the stats/weapon effects can be confusing with how many there are and often poorly worded.

I never had a problem with controls but with the latest patch adding two spirit guardians at once, I'm always switching mid-fight without realizing. That and always being on the right item bar.

Yeah, I think it's really good. There's only a regions worth of new missions though and 1 out of the 3 main missions is only a bossfight. The new weapon is really cool and they add some new enemies, but I don't think they'll appear in the base game missions unfortunately. If you like the game and want more of it, the dlc is probably worth it. They added some nice armour as well.
