JP Event's on.
As mentioned, it's a contest with three categories, Free, with no theme, MagicTime, with a magic theme, and Pairs, with no theme but a paired picture requirement.

This time you'll choose between two entries at a time, but have two votes per pair. You can give both votes to one, split them between the two, or choose neither and move on. If you choose neither three times in a row, you won't be able to use that option the 4th time. Also, voting rounds cycle from Free to MagicTime to Pair and back to Free.

As for the points, you'll gain Moe for voting and Vote Points for receiving votes. There's a ranking for each category and Moe, and also achievements for voting.

Also, during the voting period you can get a Sudden Fashion Check, which'll happen at a fixed probability. Success will net you Moe and also a MoeCon Present Box with a fixed probability. Losing will still get you points, but no chance at a box.

There's also a continuous voting bonus as before. Choosing to vote for both or neither will break it though. Also, it's unaffected by double candy.

The MoeCon! Present Box is basically the gacha. Not sure if it's different somehow.

That's basically it. You start with 20 points and can get 2 more from the early clear, which starts when the voting period starts. In the image, the leftmost column shows the Moe ranking, achievements, and early clear, while the second column shows the Free, MagicTime, and Pair rankings, from top to bottom.

That is a good point. I have no idea why they haven't, since we currently use the contest_all.php thing that the nip server uses to make those, just without the UI option to switch to two-shot mode. I'd certainly hope so, but really with AMB no one knows.

It's pretty worth it to get to Level 101 in DG fairly quickly. You get an immediate jump to 100 chat stamina and +10 closet space.

Does anyone else find it hard to make convincing children or, conversely, convincing adults in MCC? Or I guess the better question is whether you can convince yourself.

Since Myroids have the same height relative to accessories and backgrounds, it's kind of hard for me to see Myroids that are supposed to be young as being anything other than really tall kids. Wearing appropriate clothing helps, since that usually is what say's who's supposed to be an adult and who's supposed to be a child, but only to a certain degree.

Then whoever is the winner gets to choose a new theme for the week and then chooses the new winner, then they get to do it, and so on. I think it should just be across games too.

I got the bedtime MR on my first roll, don't really care for it but not complaining. Then I got the wigs - black and pink - which I can use when I get my druid and the accessories - nun hat, kotatsu, and torches - which are alright. When I got a second kotatsu I switched to no-duplicates rolls. I got the white hair and finally the magical girl MR. I don't think I'm going to roll for the rest. I have the original nun stuff already, and the other two bgs aren't worth it.

In AB you're guaranteed to get good stuff after a certain number of rolls. DG has gachas like this >>175921089 that's just rares and for the same price as an MCC Rare++ roll you are guaranteed no dupes.

The 70 NP rolls (= 700 AP) in MR special gachas are the rolls that guarantee no dupes. It's just the special theme gachas with RR/SR that have a 50 NP no dupe roll, equivalent to a Rare+ roll cost. But yeah overall they are a way better deal than what MCC offers, although I've always thought gacha rolls for fucking jpegs in these games should cost at least a dollar less.

Another thing I like about AB other than what you said with getting cool free stuff is we get one 5 times clothes roll for 750, and 5 times accessory rolls with a bonus special accessory for 500.

The only thing DB has going for it is we get free 100 coins every so often. Their reduced price gacha campaigns don't come with bonus avatars like DG, their campaigns require full 300 coin rolls. They sometimes separate themed items into a 300 coin gacha but it's still too much quantity per gacha. And they don't give out enough gacha tickets for how big the main gacha is, DG is generous with tickets. DB worse system imo.

Not sure what your calculations are, but mine go like this.
3 Sarali is about 6 normal rolls, which is about 1800 AP, or around $18 with the weakest conversion. The rate of getting 1 out of 4 Saralis is 5%/4 = 1.25%, and out of 3 rolls is 1 - 98.75%^3, or about 3.7%
The equivalent amount of money comes out to around 216 NP with it's weakest conversion. This is enough for 7 NP gacha rolls, with the rate of MRs being 3.8% currently. There are 6 MRs in there right now, so each has a rate of 0.63%. Rolling 7 times aiming for one MR is therefore 1 - 99.36%^7 = 4.35%.
