Alrighty. So these summaries will be less action, more chit-chat filler bullshit. I still don't know what ones you prefer more, but at this point, I think it's largely irrelevant since a total of about four people follow the game.

We left our intrepid heroes heroically fleeing from the last few enemies, the new Jinchuuriki Akira with them, carried by Waniko. It's past midnight at this point, and the team are pretty exhausted, Fugetsu in particular probably not expecting his first time home in about six months to take this sort of turn. The team gets back to Kirigakure after a bit of running, constantly checking to make sure they're not followed, and stopping to get some water for Fugetsu so he doesn't die from dehydration (since he used his Hydrofication Jutsu in the last fight), the team make a beeline for the Mizukage's building. The streets were mostly empty on their way back in, and the guards at the office were clearly expecting the team, as they all just nodded as Fugetsu moved past them. They make it up to the office proper and Fugetsu knocked on the door, before a masked Hunter-Killer shinobi opened it and stepped back, allowing them entry.

Fugetsu, as blase as ever at about one in the morning, acts like it wasn't a big deal, calling Chojuro 'bossman' and casually telling him that Akira was, in fact, a Jinchuuriki. There were two other four-man Hunter-Killer squads in the room, in various states of injury, as well as Naruto. Everyone looked over at the team as they entered, with Chojuro and Naruto in particular seeming particularly off-guard. Chojuro asked how everything went, and if they found out anything about who kidnapped the child. Renya replied that they were too focused on getting Akira out safely, and Fugetsu chimed in that none of them seemed interested in talking while they were snagging the kid, and they prioritised the child. Chojuro just nodded in agreement, as Renya asked Naruto if he could see how stable the young Jinchuuriki was.

Naruto seemed a little confused and said that while he was an Uzumaki, he never had really studied sealing. As discussion was happening, Akira began to wake up from Waniko's back, and as expected, was pretty startled by all the masked ninja. He asked Waniko where they were, and Waniko calmed him down, telling him that they were all back in Kiri. Chojuro smiled, as well as he could after what I could only assume would've been about a 20-and-counting-hour day, and asked Akira if he knew who he was, and what Akira's name was. The kid knew who Chojuro was, and told him. Chojuro asked if Akira could remember anything about what happened, but Akira shook his head, telling him that the last thing he could remember was going to bed, and then Waniko saving him.

Akira finally got down from Waniko's back, and Chojuro asked if Akira knew how to get in touch with his parents. He did, and Fugetsu cut in, wondering why the group just lifted a random kid from his home, and said that they clearly didn't do a lot of thinking. Chojuro pointed out that they didn't know if Akira was chosen for a reason, but they'd keep looking into it. He called in an aide from outside the office, and told Akira to go with him, and he'd put Akira in touch with his parents. As the kid was leaving the room, Waniko noticed a mark on his back between his shoulder blades. She told Akira to stop and took a look - there was a small sigil: a hexagon inside another one, with a small four-pointed star in the centre. The two Kages came over to take a look as well. Renya nails an Arcana check - finally - on a 17, and recognised the pattern from one of the books Tenten had made him read for his tattoo seals as a Two-Three Cycle Seal, which was rarely used and actually phased out decades ago because it was reported to have been incredibly unstable for sealing any being of decent power, and as such, was quickly replaced by other sealing methods like Naruto's Four Element's Seals or Bee's Iron Seal.

Renya seemed a bit worried, and told Chojuro that he should get the seal checked out as soon as possible by a sealing expert, but as long as Akira didn't get too stressed, the seal should hold. Chojuro glanced at Naruto, who shrugged, and said that it'd probably be a good idea to trust what he said. Chojuro nodded and said they'd take Akira to a sealing specialist the next morning, but for now, he should just get home to rest. He did, however, tell a Hunter-Killer to wake up someone and make them aware of the situation, and the ninja quickly nodded and left.

Chojuro turned to Naruto and said that Renya had raised the point earlier about Naruto talking directly to Isobu, and asked if he was able to. Naruto focused for a moment before shaking his head, and reported that neither he nor Kurama could contact the Tailed Beast, either because of the sketchy sealing, or because Akira was still a new Jinchuuriki and the sealing hadn't settled yet, but he mentioned that Kurama told him that there was apparently nothing to worry about. Chojuro sighed and rubbed his eyes, and everyone suddenly realised how much being a Kage must take a toll on the poor guy.

Chojuro turned to Fugetsu and told him to pick a teammate to accompany him and Akira back to the kid's house, and Waniko quickly put her hand up. He suggested the other team members go home and get some sleep. Fugetsu told Waniko he would've picked her anyway, before turning to Chojuro and asking that if everything was safe with Akira, what his plans were, and if he was going to become an 'asset' (read: weapon) for the Village, like previous Jinchuuriki had been.

Chojuro scratched his head and replied that the best thing for Akira would probably to try and be as normal as possible - the secret of him being a Jinchuuriki doesn't leave the room, except for his parents and family, and when he's older, he'll be free to tell whoever he wants. Naruto darkly said that he could vouch for the fact that it's not fun for a child if the Village makes decisions about a Jinchuuriki.

Fugetsu agreed on him having a normal life, but brought up that Isobu hadn't been considered yet. He'd been free for a few decades, and now he's back inside a human, and if they left things as they were, it might be decades before he was free again, and he didn't think that was exactly fair. Naruto broke the news to Fugetsu that extracting a Tailed Beast is both incredibly painful, and ultimately fatal, for a Jinchuuriki. Fugetsu wasn't convinced however, and said that there had to be some way to do it, showing a beautiful hopeful ideology that only kids who haven't experienced the real world have. Naruto didn't seem overly hopeful, but said he'd have a chat with the other Tailed Beasts and talk to another Jinchuuriki, and suggested that Fugetsu have a talk with Kokuou whenever he next sees him. He paused for a moment before commenting that this all depends on how Isobu feels anyway, and that none of it might matter if he comes to like the kid.

Fugetsu agreed, but mentioned that he didn't like the idea of Isobu being trapped against his will for decades. Naruto agreed, and Fugetsu ended the discussion, saying that he and Waniko would then head off to take Akira home, and asked where Renya and Arata would stay the night. They both said the hotel, since it didn't feel right to be in the Hozuki estate without Fugetsu. So saying, the five of them head off, parting ways outside the Mizukage building.

After a short walk, Akira directed Waniko - from sitting on her back again - to a small house. There were a man and a woman - who could've only been his parents - waiting out the front, alongside two Hunter-Killer shinobi who had their masks off. Akira struggled to get down from Waniko as soon as he saw them, and ran over to them, who wrapped him up in tight hugs and started babbling about how glad they were to see him safe and that he was home. As they go to bring Akira back inside, he runs back over to Waniko and gives her a big hug, thanking her again for saving him. Waniko grinned and told Akira he had been pretty brave, and said he was going to be just fine now. Fugetsu also told him to take care, before Akira dramatically pointed at him, and performing the most cliche anime move ever, told him that one day he'd be strong like Fugetsu. Fugetsu chuckled and said he was looking forward to it. Hilariously, Akira headed back inside, leaving Waniko going "What about me? I'm strong too, right? I mean, I carried you back and everything!". Absolutely denied by an 8-year-old.

Fugetsu laughed again and told her that it was all in the title, and that it provided, quote, "Mad respect". Waniko wondered if she should get a title as well, then. The two Hunter-Killers wandered over and told the two Chuunin that they had did good that night, and thanked them for dropping the kid off, telling them that they'd take over the watch from here. The two of them started heading back to the Hozuki residence, with Fugetsu saying that he was pretty beat. Waniko agreed and said she hadn't carried anything that heavy for so long. There was then a lot of back and forth between the two of them on the way back, which I'll do my best to cut down to a manageable size.

Fugetsu suggested that Waniko could get some sort of title that she could put into the Bingo Book, but Waniko replied that anyone could get a name like that, and she would've preferred a name that she had to earn.

Fugetsu just said that same names in the Bingo Book are just used that way anyway, citing Kakashi's name as the Copy Ninja, and he got a ton of respect for that. Waniko agreed, but didn't know what sort of name she'd get to describe her, and moped that it'd probably something a lot more negative than descriptive. Fugetsu mentioned the Shadow, and guessed that'd be a good trademark to base something off. Waniko replied that she'd always been bad with words, and that actions were probably easier, and it was probably best just to let other people come up with the name for her.

She then pointed out that Fugetsu's new title impressed a lot of people, especially Akira, and hoped they could find a way to help him and Isobu. Fugetsu didn't seem too worried, telling her that if the seal is safe, he'll be just fine. He didn't think that Akira would be able to lead a normal life if Isobu remained sealed inside him though, and thought that Isobu should be freed to benefit both of them. Waniko wondered if Isobu and Akira would become friends, and if they could work together, Akira would be stronger than both of them.

Fugetsu agreed, and mentioned that the Fourth Mizukage was said to have been a great Jinchuuriki as well, but from what he'd heard about Yagura, none of it matched up to Naruto, and something about the Hokage was just on a whole different level. Waniko guessed that titles like his weren't given away for nothing, and pointed out that Fugetsu's wasn't either, since the promotion was a big deal, and everyone knew him now.

Fugetsu said he didn't know about that, and that it wasn't really impressive compared to the Seventh Hokage. He mentioned that it had been decades since the Village had had a full complement of seven swordsmen, but all the blades were either lost or taken, and Kiri is only just working its way back up. He thought that the meaning behind them had changed as well, as they ones who used to wield the swords were the best of the best, and constantly fighting for the spots, but now the impressiveness is just from the impression people got from past generations.

Waniko didn't seem down, replying that she definitely thought he'd be able to make the new generation of Swordsmen look good, and he was able to do a lot even without wearing the armour, so she thought he was meant to have Nenryobo. She also thought it was still a pretty big deal, since everyone was dressed up and there was the party and everything.

The two of them approached the gates to the Hozuki compound, and Waniko pointed out that even though it had been a big deal, they didn't even come prepared for the ceremony, and tomorrow was Fugetsu's birthday. She cut off and thought for a second, before saying that she guessed today was his birthday, since it was after midnight. Fugetsu didn't seem too miffed, but agreed that it was. Waniko seemed a bit upset about not getting him a gift and said it was so late she hadn't even noticed it had rolled over, and lamented that everything was closed now.

Fugetsu still didn't seem too worried, replying that it was fine, that he'd never been one for gifts, and that hanging out with Waniko had been good enough for him. He continued that if she insisted, she could try to find something in the morning, because he expected to sleep in for a while after the events of the night. Waniko still seemed sad, saying that it wasn't right that he didn't get anything from her, and on the day of his promotion, so she leaned in, grabbed his face, and kissed him on the cheek.

Fugetsu, the kissless autist that he is, basically freezes immediately and stammers out "Y-yeah, real gift, sounds good...", before walking off into the Hozuki residence, leaving Waniko standing at the gates. Now I'm not an expert on how to react to a cute girl giving you a kiss, but I'm pretty sure that that isn't one of the best ways to go about it. Waniko quickly follows him, saying that she thought he didn't really like gifts, and guesses that she would need to find something good after all. Fugetsu blankly showed Waniko to her room, still pretty spaced out, before going back to his room and passing out.

While this was going down, Arata and Renya made it back to the hotel room, and in what I can only assume was, like, three-tenths homoerotic, Arata got Renya to take his shirt off and healed the kunai wound that Arata inflicted on him by accident back in the fight. No word as to whether they cuddled afterwards.

We then timeskipped to the next morning, at around 10am, give or take, with the team having a bit more of a sleep in than usual. After waking up and getting himself together, Fugetsu heard voices out from the dining area, including one he didn't recognised. He headed out, with Waniko following, and saw Fuuko talking to a girl he didn't recognise. Fuuko introduced the girl as Yuki, who had been in the same class as her in the Academy, and that she had come by to wish him a happy birthday.

That jogged Fugetsu's memory, who said he only remembered classmates who were decent in a spar, lowkey starting to destroy her self-esteem from the get-go. He quickly followed up with a 'You were pretty good though', so who knows. He guessed she was still a Genin, since he didn't see her at the Exams, thanked her for the visit, and asked how she was going.

Yuki confirmed that she was still a Genin, but that was mostly because her sensei hadn't put her team forward. She did say, however, that they had watched the Exams from Kirigakure, and said Fugetsu had looked really cool. Fugetsu off-handedly said that he had been told, but mentioned that his teammates deserved more credit than he did, complimenting Waniko in particular, saying that he'd have been down and out more than once if it hadn't been for her.

Yuki seemed a little bit thrown by his graciousness, but she still thought he had been really strong, particularly the way he had taken down the 'metal guy' at the end. She then fidgets for a second, before piping up that she had something for him, turning and grabbing a small wooden box from the counter. She told him that her cousin worked in the Land of Iron as an artisan, and when she visited him last month, he had shown her around. She then began to babble slightly, continuing that she asked if she could see how her cousin made weapons, and he had shown her how to forge some small things, and he had known someone who culd forge with chakra, and on and on. Eventually, she took a breath and held out the box to Fugetsu, guessing that while he probably didn't need it anymore since he got his big sword, but she wanted him to have it anyway.

Fugetsu took the box and opened it. Inside was a small tanto blade with black steel, sky-blue fabric around the hit, the symbol for the Mist on one side of the blade, and a small clear gemstone in the bottom of the hilt. Fugetsu complimented the weapon, and Yuki told him that her cousin did the wrapping and the Mist symbol, and his friend had set the gem and stored the chakra, but she made the blade itself. Fugetsu replied that regardless of the new sword, he'd always appreciate a sidearm and thanked her, asking for when her birthday was so he could give her a gift. Yuki choked slightly, saying that he didn't need to do that, and Waniko came over to examine the blade.

Fugetsu wasn't put off from Yuki telling him he didn't need to get her anything, and said that they were both Mist ninja and they'd probably be working together in the future. She gave in and told him her birthday, but said he didn't need to go out of his way. Waniko, meanwhile, seemed incredibly uncomfortable with this development and muttered to herself that she had to go get a gift as well, leaving the room in a bit of a hurry. Yuki looked over Fugetsu's shoulder and asked if Waniko was ok. Fugetsu replied that she was probably just stressed over getting him a gift as well, and that Yuki's might have intimidated her slightly, before thanking her again for the tanto. Yuki smiled and told him that if he got low on chakra, he'd be able to draw from the gem, although she didn't know how much had been stored in there. They wrapped up their conversation, Yuki said her goodbyes, and headed off.

We more or less left the game there, with each character having their own plans for the day - Fugetsu was chilling in his room, Waniko was out desperately trying to find a suitable gift that could upstage Yuki's, Arata was off picking flowers and seeing if there was anything he could find for new toxins or potions, and Renya was doing research on sealing methods like some kind of nerd.

The summary - whenever I get around to it - will be split like I've done a few times before. All of them will be spoilered, as each character has their own unique day that none of the others know about yet.

The part where Sakura says that Naruto is lucky not to have parents is one of the best moments in the series. Sasuke shuts her the fuck up and it was a really good character moment for him that showed he wasn't a complete edgelord during part 1.

Alright, so, I'm going to start the next round of summaries. I don't think I'll get through all the characters, since some are sort of lengthy, so I'll go from shortest to longest. They are all going to be spoilered, so the players can't see what the other players were up to, so I'd super appreciate it if, you know, you guys don't spoil it.

We start with Renya's day, waking up in the hotel. After having a suitable sleep-in for getting in at 1am after beating up some kidnappers, he was still a bit on edge about the less-than-stable seal holding back a bio-nuke, and decided to head to the Kirigakure library to see if there was anything he could find on sealing techniques - maybe something related to Yagura and his sealing method. Quickly hitting dead ends, he decided to follow up on a second branch of sealing - sealing without ink. Specifically the type of on-contact sealing that Danzo had used against Sasuke in his fight (although Renya wouldn't have known that Danzo had done that, of course). Unfortunately, this subject as well was pretty sparse, with only a single book containing half a chapter about non-ink contact-sealing. Beyond that, it was incredibly confusing, delving into using chakra itself as the interim medium of the seal, rather than the ink or blood. He spent about half an hour copying the important parts down to ask Tenten about.

Following the little reading session, and with nothing really else on his plate for the day, he decided to copy his time in Iwagakure and went on a sight-seeing tour of Kirigakure. As he headed around, he noticed that while Konoha had modernised, Kiri, at least on the outside, had tried to retain its traditional architectural style from decades ago. After a bit of wandering, he reached the end of a track that terminated at the top point of a hill, overlooking the entire Village, not unlike the spot at the top of the Hokage heads in Konoha. There, he saw a woman with long, auburn hair...

Renya called out to the lady, thinking it was Fugetsu's mum. It turned out she was, in fact, not, and as you all saw, was indeed her sister, Mei, the Fifth Mizukage. Renya asked if the preparations for the party were done, and Mei, as expected, reacted a little bit confused. She asked if Renya knew her sister, and asked if she knew him. He apologised, but explained that he was teammates with her nephew. It took a second, but Mei put two and two together, and asked if he was part of the special team that the 'young Hokage' put together. Renya answered that he was, and she asked his name. Renya replied, and asked, in turn, what her name was. With as much dignity as she could muster, Mei drew herself up and introduced herself as the Fifth Mizukage. Renya seemed a little surprised, but said it was a pleasure to meet her (heh).

She asked what he was doing up at the top of the lookout, before putting two and two together for a second time, lingering over his last name. She told him that she had known a different Shimura once, and had been *THIS* close to melting his face off. Renya seemed a little bit dejected and said that he got that a lot - although maybe without the melting bit. Mei played it cool, saying that it must be hard for him to be attributed to someone who was now known for supporting terrorists and toppling governments. Renya, for his part, didn't seem TOO put out, and replied that he guessed that was just how other Villages knew him, whereas in Konoha, he had been a patron to displaced orphans and part of why Konoha had still be standing after the first three Ninja World Wars.

Mei seemed unimpressed, merely shrugging and asked if it had been his clan who had told him that. He replied that of course it had been, and she in turn simply scoffed and said that surely they couldn't have been biased, then. Renya told her that he later found out that he worked to make sure there were others like him in other Villages, before proclaiming that he wasn't like Danzo, and not everybody in the Shimura clan know everything he had done or why. Mei seemed a little bit thrown at the suggestion that there were others like Danzo hidden in other Villages, but Renya had already moved on, saying that the clan followed Danzo because he kept the clan afloat, and then when his actions caused the clan to lose face and his own death, the clan had to rebuild itself from scratch, before suggesting that the people of Kiri could sympathise.

This, it turned out, was the wrong thing to say, as Mei narrowed her eyes and reminded him, in a level voice, that Yagura had been controlled, while Danzo knew full well what he was doing. Renya countered, asking if the Mizukage before Yagura - who had set up the Bloody Mist trials - had also been controlled. We took a few minutes OOC as we disputed who exactly had set up the Bloody Mist trials. It turned out that it had, in fact, been Yagura, even though the timelines and ages of people like Zabuza didn't add up. Thanks Kishi, you fucking hack.

Mei immediately shut him the hell down, telling him, in no uncertain terms, that Yagura had started the Bloody Mist trials, and nobody had controlled any other Mizukage, before or since. Renya tried to backtrack, apologising for his lack of knowledge and spouting shit he didn't really know about, and said he didn't really have any right defending Danzo's actions, but telling her that it got old hearing about the atrocious deeds of something he'd never met.

Mei softened slightly, saying that Renya seemed alright - at least in comparison - and that maybe that the Shimura clan was on the up and up after all. Renya, in turn, asked her for advice - specifically, what he could do to rebuild his clan's name, as she had to do for her Village. Mei seemed a little surprised by the question, and thought for a moment, before telling him, looking across the Village sadly, that sometimes shadows follow people - or places - for life, and that even now some people are wary of Kirigakure, and even now, a lot of people outside of Konoha hate the Uchiha. She turned back to Renya and answered his question, telling him that all he could do is the best he could, and show the world that the Shimura name is good. She warned him, however, that there may come a time when he has to pick between his clan and his Village, and what side he placed himself on at that point would be critical.

Renya mulled over her words and thanked her. She shrugged and replied that it wouldn't be easy, but he would decide what was right for him as the time came, thinking that Danzo probably considered what he was doing the right thing as well. Renya apologised to her again, this time for coming and ruining her attempt to relax. Mei laughed and told him that she had a family event later anyway, and she was already on edge. He asked if there was anything he could do to make up for his transgression, to which Mei raised an eyebrow and asked what he meant. Renya said that he had compared a terrorist to a man that had been controlled against his will.

But before we could go into more detail, Nero had to leave for work, and so we leave on that wonderful cliff-hanger. I might be able to finish it off with him sometime during next week, since I'm usually able to get away with playing at work.

So Renya's list of cakes consists of: Natsumi Shimazu, Tenten, Kurostuchi, and Mei Terumi. The absolute madman.
