It is objectively bad design for healers to have so much MP that it ceases to matter as a resource to be managed, unless you are going to 100% remove MP from the game entirely and balance skills solely based on cast/recast times. WHM is much, much, much closer to the ideal balance of MP management than either of the other two healers, and SE should be looking to make the other two healers more similar to WHM in that regard rather than the other way around.

This is false, and an incorrect comparison to begin with.

Noct AH is a 150 potency heal. With the 10% Noct bonus, that brings it to 165. With the 20% bonus from Synastry, that brings it to 198. The shield is 150% the heal, so the total potency on the shield of a Synastry'd version of AH is 297.

Adlo is 300 potency - so you're already wrong. Further to that, you never Deploy off of someone without a healing bonus, unless the thing you're mitigating is literally just so weak that it doesn't make a difference what shield you use. Cross-class Convalescence is used at a minimum, for a 360 potency shield. If the damage is seriously threatening, you use Convalescence + Defiance, for a 432 potency shield.

This is an incorrect comparison to begin with, because the AST does not have Synastry running 100% of the time (you fucking idiot), and SCH does not lack a healing buff. The comparison, if you're using buffs, should be to an AST with Synastry versus a SCH with Fey Illumination.

In which case, the baseline Adlo+Conv shield potency on Deploy starts off at 432, and goes up to 518 if you use Defiance on top of that.

It's next to impossible for NIN to ever be bad, because Trick Attack is so universally powerful, on top of a bunch of other in-built utility.

DRG can never be bad as long as Disembowel exists in its current form, unless both BRD and MCH get nerfed into absolute irrelevancy, which is in itself almost impossible, because of how important it is to have an MP battery and also because BRD has Foe Requiem and Battle Voice in an expansion where 5/8 members of your party can now be casters without any class overlap and MCH has Hypercharge and 6/8 Physical compositions will have even more variations than they do now.

BLM and SMN are vulnerable, but not as vulnerable as MNK, because A) Their gear will now be shared between three jobs, meaning that it doesn't matter if BLM sucks on one fight as long as either SMN or RDM are good, and B) Because there have been plenty of mechanics in the past that required magic damage that could easily force them into a party slot, whereas MNK only has melee, physical damage.

MNK is still the most vulnerable, but at the same time is a lot less vulnerable than they are now, simply because they share gear with SAM, and both classes have to suck really badly before it becomes a bad idea to get MNK gear.

SAM and RDM are both total wild cards, but unfortunately I think they're more in the MNK/BLM/SMN tier of vulnerability than in the relatively safe DRG/NIN/BRD/MCH space.
