If you have Luma installed, you can, just be aware that you won't be able to use NTR's streaming feature because it's still broken. If you wanna use the Homebrew launcher (altough everything that has a HBL version has a .cia version, but still), you'll need to download the 11.2 Payloads for o3DS and rename them to 11.4.

I plan on going from CFW to A9LH in a few weeks, and I want to backup and wipe my SD card before I do so to get rid of files from shit like >cakes I used years ago, since my SD is filled with shit like that, and I don't remember what I need and what I don't. Before I do so, I've got a few things to ask:
Can I just dump and inject my emuNAND into my sysNAND and then wipe my SD?
Do I need to use a certain program/method to backup my SD before doing this? I know it's not a problem with A9LH but I recall it being a problem for emuNAND.

I made a thing: https://github.com/SciresM/3DS-SSL-Patch

It disables root CA verification for SSL requests...in other words, it makes it so that you can trivially man-in-the-middle any network request sent from your console.

This'll be really useful for devs, I imagine, since it means you can just fire up fiddler or whatever and start inspecting network traffic if you want to reverse engineer how a game's network protocols work.

As a test, I used it and successfully dumped every request in a complete login to eshop -> navigate to title -> buy title sequence, and got the plaintext requests where my console downloaded the ticket for the title I bought etc etc.

I'd caution that it's really only for devs, though...tour 3DS's network requests are necessarily completely insecure when this is installed, so you'll want to turn it off or uninstall it except when doing reverse engineering work.

So I'm trying to downgrade my 2001B Nor PS3 with a TEENSY++ 2.0, I attached the 3.3 regulator and plug it in. The orange light flashes. I've installed the teensey++ 2.0 driver, and then I press "flash for NORWAY".

At that point it tells me to connect the Teensy, click the button on it, and then press okay.

I bought a Wii U on ebay without any accessories because it was cheap. Now I realize I can't hack it without a gamepad.

You can set up so that you can use USB controllers (including Gamecube with the adapter) instead of Gamepad. But, I don't see a reason to completely get rid of the Gamepad. It's handy to have just in case something fucks up. Also, Off-TV play works with Retroarch and VC injects.

Not until you have A9LH. Follow https://3ds-guide.b4k.co/ on sysnand (you probably boot sysnand holding L), they'll direct you to move emunand to sysnand towards the end.

Emunand is a hidden partition so it's usually a hassle to move to another SD. On the A9LH process however, on the Move Emunand part towards the end, after you finish moving, you'll be told to backup the contents of the SD and then format it with GodMode9 so don't worry about it right now.

So basically, just follow the guide and pay attention to the header texts. Especially the "Section IV - Restoring the System" which will redirect you to the page to move the Emunand if you have one, do not miss that.

Pic related is your SD, assuming you're on Luma emunand. The red crossing means you can get rid of them safely, red question mark technically is same but idk what they are so they may have a personal meaning for you idk. Blue crossing means you can delete after you install A9LH but not yet, as they may break your current setup. Green slash means they're not vital but are connected to some homebrew you may or may not be using, so they're up to you too.

So I've downloaded both Yakuza 0 [BLJM61249] & Yakuza Kiwami [BLJM61313] & I'm experiencing this issue on both of these games. I looked around and saw someone was having issues the exact same issues with Kiwami, but he said he just redownloaded the game and he fixed it. Now, I've downloaded 3 different copies of Kiwami (2 different versions off of downloadgameps3 & 1 off of 4players) and every single one has gotten the issue where it got stuck on the first loading screen after the first cinematic. There's no split files, I'm on Rebug CFW 4.81.2, & it's happened for both in ISO and GAME format. I've tried BD Mirror, External, & various combinations and none have worked. I haven't gotten too in-depth with Y0 (only version I have I got off of ps3iso) like I have with Kiwami, but I've run into issues with it as well, where even in ISO or GAME format, it gets stuck after the cinematic after the first tutorial fight.

I'm also having issues getting Yakuza 5 [NPUB31658] (which I got from Nicoblog) to play. I've done both the ext game data method with the Yakuza fix that's posted along with it to try and play, but to no avail. I even tried a ISO conversion method to play it as a disc that a user shared on ps3iso, but that didn't work either. I keep getting the message "There has been a problem with the trophies. (8002291b)". I don't know why it keeps doing this. I see some folks say to rebuild the database, but I don't know where that option is.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't have updates installed for them, but when I played Yakuza 3 & 4 backups I made off the disc, they played perfectly fine, so I don't understand why they're not working. Please help me get these up and running, thanks.

I personally think the 3DS has built up the best log of games out of any console ever. It has tough competition against the likes of the SNES and PS2, but I stand by it. There's just a good chunk of every genre, and some really huge defining games. And great remakes and a strong VC. Might be a bold statement, but damn I think the 3DS ended up that good. I mean the "live patching" thing I read some people mention, like installing the base game only and directly copying the patch files in the SD and Luma patches the game live as it's being played.
People used it with Dragon Quest and Bravely Default and that way it was easier to update the patch without reinstalling a patched CIA.

Easiest way is copying the .3ds to SD, going into Godmode9, sdcard, navigate to it, NCSD image options, Build CIA from file.

But if you want the hard work to be done on computer (3DS is slow for big games, maybe space constrains on SD too):
