I doubt there will be much change, just added stuff like mismatched joycon pieces. What we can expect at least is some quality control improvements covering heat, warping, frailty, etc.

Should I get a Switch or a 3DSXL? I need a handheld for commuting. Switch is just so expensive and for single player games in the first year it only has Zelda, Mario Kart and Mario Odyssey. The only thing I really liked about the o3DS was the jeweltone, and even that was marred by those awful colors. Cerulean and grape-drank.

This 2DSXL on the other hand is a delight to look at. The color options, the way the screen utilizes almost all of the available real estate. The only thing I'm disappointed in is how the power button is back in that same awful position as the n3DSXL, right where it can get bumped.

Wait for the New 2DS XL. It looks like it fixed absolutely everything I hated about the previous systems.

It's got that frame around the top half, like the original 3DS, so that it completely closes and dirt can't get in (unlike the New 3DS, which just has the inside exposed when you close it), it looks comfortable to hold, and THE TOUCH SCREEN CAN'T SCRATCH THE TOP SCREEN WHEN YOU CLOSE IT ANYMORE FINALLY. They moved the camera to the center of the system instead of at the top which means you can't smudge or scratch it as easily, and it's a 2DS, because nobody really used the 3D anyway. I think it's perfect. (Cheap too, $50 less than the New 3DS XL, plus the aforementioned improvements on the design)

Afaik this was originally a Wii game and got ported to the New3DS. It's also a game with huge open areas and sometimes large amounts of monsters and NPCs moving around. Does the game have framerate issues at all?

What I did on regular MK8 was try to go as slow as possible. Ended up with baby weight, biddybuggy and leaf tires. Some stats are changed around on MK8D and I haven't unlocked everything yet, so ultimately just try to slow yourself down as much as possible imo. I used a heavy for MK8D just cause I wanted to but if you're not used to 200CC, I recommend that setup. If what you meant by "best" was "I want to beat 200cc but I don't play 200cc".

I don't know if this is the best place to ask, since it's kind of a tech question, but it relates to the switch so here we go.

I have an ultrawide monitor (LG 29um58-p) and I have my switch hooked up to it's second input. Currently I can switch between input 1 and input two to play either PC or the switch, no problems, but what I want to do is like split screen(pbp) or pip mode, with my PC and Switch on screen at the same time.

Has anyone tried this before or know if it's even possible? I've been trying to find a clear answer for the past 4 hours but just keep coming up to promotional material telling me that the monitor has split screen support for multiple computers, but no info on a console like the switch.

PiP would be somewhere in the monitor's own menu and should work with whatever's hooked up, be it a PC or a console, though my monitor's PiP mode only supports specific combinations of inputs (Displayport + DVI but not HDMI + DVI or something like that) and it too is LG brand although somewhat older than yours. I believe LG has companion software for it too, so check the support page for your monitor on their website.

Yeah, that's where it should be, and all the videos say "just press the menu button under your monitor and then select PBP mode" but when I do it it isn't there. I looked into the support page, but the only thing I could find is a dual controller, which is basiaclly what I want, but it won't work forme becasue it's designed for two computers (you need to install the program on both computers and then put both their IP's into it, which I can't do with the switch) and it basically lets you use both computers on the same screen with the same keyboard and mouse, which is a feature I don't need.

I would try the different input combinations, but my monitor only has HDMI so I'd imagine it's okay with two hdmi inputs, since that's all it CAN do.

I can set the screen up in pip or split screen mode, but I can't figure out how to get it to display input 2 in the other window, instead of just letting me drag and drop windows and have it autoscale them into those modes(which is useless because windows does that by default)

Very frustrating, because I feel like I've basically got everything I need, but it's just not clicking right.

Parts have the same stats across each character, right? Might be different for weight classes, but it should be a consistent ratio. Each character has different stats so it'll be easier each stat with different weight classes, it's why there's usually some sort of meta.
tl;dr It's just a general outline to keep in mind that applies to any character you want to play as, it's just more successful on certain characters like Morton and shit.

I put the SD card in the 3DS.

I'm about to start Etrian Odyssey Untold 2, and the question is ... story mode or classic? I played EO4 so I'm no stranger to the classic, mute party member mode. Does story add to the game?
