Every since FUCKING KENNY from the walking dead game came back in season two to shit things up I've learned that it's a rule of thumb "no corpse, no death" in ongoing fiction. Now Futaba says she can't sense his life form anymore, but it's the metaverse and a million fucking things can happen.

I made a post a few days ago about how this scene doesn't translate well to Western audiences because in Japanese culture, someone's superior/mentor is directly held accountable for the actions of their student/apprentice. Japanese audiences are therefore more likely to blame Shido for what Goro's done moreso than Western audiences.

Americans live in a very individualist society where we blame the person who pulled the trigger almost as much as the person who ordered the kill, but Japan is a collectivist society where following orders is honourable. This is also why the PT are so quick to forgive Yusuke and Makoto even though they were obstructing their work, because they understand that they were just doing what was expected of them.

I do think the translation should have made this a bit more obvious since it does seem really weird outside of Japan.

I recently grabbed a copy of P3FES and I'm about to start playing it as my first Persona game. The thing is, I don't know whether to play on easy difficulty or normal difficulty.

Now, I ain't no pussy or anything, and easy is always for pussies I like to say, plus, I've played my fair share of JRPGs before (Hyperdimension, FE, Etrian Odyssey), so I sort of know what to expect.

The problem is, the game is made by ATLUS, who are the same guys that made Etrian Odyssey. And let me tell you faggots right now, my asshole will never be as tight as it used to be from that game.
