I think you're misunderstanding what spoofing is. Spoofing tricks your Vita and Sony's servers into thinking it's on the latest firmware, so you can access online PSN services (playing online, syncing trophies, accessing the PSN store, etc). I was using the USB thing with my Vita and after one disconnect it was telling me it couldn't copy files because there was something wrong with the disk. I did a scan and fix because I found a link on google saying it would be okay.

It found errors and moved like 4 gigs worth of files into a FOUND folder. I -think- they were the game files for DoAX3, because that game now says it's 21mb on my app list, but the game still seems to boot and work fine.

Should I be concerned or is this just my life now?

DoA especially would be a pain in the ass to reinstall, probably more than any other game.

Yes, you'll only need to be on latest Luma. You will lose NTR stream capabilities on 11.4 though, if you don't use it you'll be fine. This is the easiest way and has no data loss.

Restoring a backup would you need to use GodMode9, put the backup on your SD, select it and choose "NAND restore" -> "Restore SysNAND (safe)". Either way the first suggestion is the best imo, unless you really want NTR streaming (fucking cell9 when will he fix this).
