I think it all began in FFIX personally.The moogles were total bros in FFVI and I don't remember them being much in VII or VIII. In IX they were assholes though, constantly making you do shit for them like deliver letters, and its where they were constantly stealing shit and making you give them kupo nuts and stuff.

I really liked Caius, Noel and their whole deal but the story is still held back because it is a sequel to 13, which means that they had to make it fit into the series even if it meant having a retcon to 13's ending, and the fact that it had to end in a cliffhanger in order to tie up to the third game hurts it as well

I used a hybrid team of Fran, Arc, Papalymo, Fang and Onion Kid, SBs were BSB on all but Arc who had his medica SSB. RW'd SG, beat it on the second try. My team was quite weak on the physical side (OK is geared for MAG, Fran's focused on breaking not damage and Fang's BSB hits for peanuts even after imperil) so if you have enough durability to make it through his immune phases, full mage should suffice. I suppose the same could be said for full physical too.

I agree. They are masterpieces. The movement from XIII to the ending of LR was brilliant and gave the whole trilogy gravitas. The combination of stellar gameplay, graphics, and music is hard to topple. Maybe someone could give me a quick breakdown of how stars work in FFBE.
So I'm used to summoner's war where if you pull a 5 star, it's 5 stars off the bat. Everything 4 and above can be 6 star I think... After feeding it a looooot of monsters.
But in FFBE, I just got Terra as a 3 star and in the "banner" it says she's 6 stars.

What am I not putting together here? Will the crystal be a different color than blue or gold if it's a 5 star?

Blue = 3-star base

Banners tell you what a character's maximum stars are. Terra is a 3-star base character that can be upgraded to 6-stars.
To upgrade, you get a character to max level and then awaken them using items that drop from various content; repeat until at max stars.
